I watched this a year ago but I am finally moving to Indonesia as a retiree on my own in January. Heading to Bali & Lombok in 2 weeks to check it out first. Thinking I would be more at home in Bali now. Thanks Muzza, Alan &  Vie.

Vietnam is a lot cheaper. Rent and food is cheap as but the food in that shop probably comes from Australia hence the price!

Thanks for that Muzza, I really enjoyed that tour through the shops and having a bit of fun along the way 👍🇦🇺

Hi Murray, Thanks for your videos, its great to watch and find out about the real cost of living in Bali. We have been many times but never really found what we would like to spend longer in, like 3-6 months a year. Hotels are too expensive for longer stays. We are hoping to spend retirement time over there between 3-6 months each year. We watched the lease living video as well. Although we thought it a good idea, it wouldn't suit us, as we prefer our own space. Loved where Alan lives but its a little small and we would love a bigger outdoor space as we both like gardening. Would you be able to do a video on a home/villa type property with more of a garden, and pool, 1 or 2 beds, or see what you can film? :) We know it would be more expensive than Al's place, but maybe it is possible? Fingers crossed. Thanks Murray. LUV your work.

You’re brave Muzza, on the by pass on Al’s scoot.

Thanks you 3...always enjoy watching your little Bali adventures. I look forward to meeting Alan the next time we are in Bali!

IT'S NICE TO SEE AL AGAIN,
HE HAS HIS DAILY COST WELL PLANNED OUT & ENJOYING LIFE .

What I like about Bali is big lush villas, everything done for you, top notch grub out and Gojek for home, and a beer or two at a bar a few times a day . I think this would cost me a bit more  😊

Love Sanur ..breakfast on beach front only $6 ..swim in lagoon every day .. a beer at Casablanca in evening ...lots of entertainment ...warm people 😊

Ill come and live with you. Vicki, Nurse, Australia ❤

Looks like a good spot. Close to The Man Shed and the Hidden Garden Bar. 2 of my favourite places in Sanur.

Loved the video really an eye opener especially an Australian who never been to Bali but lot friends and family do ❤❤ stay safe 💕

Great video and all the aspects of living in Bali

loving your channel mate - can i ask for the details where Al gets his beer from.  My daughter is an air hostess with jetstar - we have been to bali a bit and looking to up that in the next few years.  love the local tips mate.

Thanks Murray, that was interesting.

It's a great supermarket  Muzza  shopped there a couple of times the selection really good 👍

Amazing how ur movies look like they arent scripted and shoot in one scene. Love your laugh and the moments u bring joy to the people there! Let me know if ur visiting benoa in november because me as an dutchie loves the Aussies over there 🤟

Good on you Al - love how you are settled in there now and loving it!

Away from Kuta, Legian and all along the southern tourist traps it is so much nicer and more cost effective.
No issue getting your pension in from the CBA I’m guessing.

Enjoy and thanks Muzza for the vid - a good one this time! 😜

PS - be great to save that $5 a day and heal your lungs Al!

Good stuff muzza and Al , yeah a good pub is the go 😊

That was great to watch 🙏
