how does the Q concert meta pair with Marantz Model M1 with Tidal Connect highest music resolution to listen to classic, progressive, symphonic rock? If not, which other alternatives are suggested. I will not use stands

Beyond my budget! My q150 is lovely sounding, i don't feel to change them. 😊

One of the reasons I watch your vidz is .
Not only do you review but you also feature various artists.
Keep up the good work

Good Day Mr Darko : )
Could you please shed light on how do they compare in terms of sound performance
with Monitor Audio's Silver 100 7G, which you also reviewed?
Thank You🙏!

I love my Kef R3 for electronic music and watching films, the Lintons are better for rock and acoustic music, I wouldn't mind finding a speakers that does well with both, so I can just have one pair! :-) now I switch every few months! 🙂

Can you compare R3 meta with b&w 703 s3

I’m using the r11 meta and r6 meta for lcr.
Just added concerto meta for side surrounds.

The R3 in Australia never goes on sale - same old retail price offered by all retailers $3900 AUD. Go to America and they are often on sale ? Ripped off down under

Q concerto meta or LS50 meta any opinions

Probably John's best video thus far. Loved every second of it.

Great comparison here.

I'm very happy with the concentric concept when applied correctly I have a set of elac ub5 and UF5 and continue to be very happy.

@jeffcraig7327 1 year ago

With a good sub would the Concertos match the R3s?

Nice "EF" stands

Interesting channel. I found a shop that had clearance of Kef R3 previous version ... I know the guy... so he begrudgingly set them up next to New Kef r3. And yes he had the Kef q concerto. Skip to the end... at low and mid volume... the kef Q is as good as old Kef r3. At higher volume the new Kef r3 stays cleaner and upper freqs stay clear. Now me personally... prefer my Quad S2. and for Bargain hunters go listen to Elac unifi

R3 is a grand more for the better finish and lower distortion at higher volumes. I'm good with having that choice. 🙂 Thank you KEF for making both. I will purchase one of the two.

The Wharfedale Linton costs $1,728 and the KEF Q Concerto Meta costs $1,371 (in my city). I can afford either of them and plan to pair the speakers with the Marantz Model M1. Which would you recommend for a medium-to-large bedroom with little to no room treatment?
I primarily listen to J-Pop, J-Rock, and modern music, mostly at low volumes and occasionally at moderate levels. While I prefer a warmer sound signature, I also value cohesive sound, a spacious soundstage with good off-axis performance, tight low-end response, rich and intimate vocals, and strong midbass punch.
I find the KEF’s design more appealing, as the Lintons look quite bulky—though they do come with stands.
