Join me on a walkabout starting from Thappraya Road, heading straight down to Jomtien Beach, and strolling all the way to Soi 7 to see the latest changes on the ground.
As we make our way over the Thappraya Road hill—the main route connecting central Pattaya to Jomtien—we discuss the most convenient ways to get around. Catching a baht bus along this route is highly efficient, typically costing just 10 to 20 baht for the short 10 to 15-minute journey.
Down on Jomtien Beach, you will see that it remains noticeably quieter and cleaner than Pattaya Beach, offering a 6km stretch of wide sand. The area has seen noticeable cleanups recently, resulting in fewer illegal beach hawkers and a reduction in litter. Municipal officers have also recently inspected the beachfront, seizing unauthorized rental mats and chairs to ensure the public areas remain fully open for everyone to enjoy.
When we reach the Soi 7 area, we take a closer look at the local amenities. The street features a variety of beauty salons, traditional Thai massage parlors, and local shops selling fresh fruit, souvenirs, and clothing. The area is also home to established accommodations like the Thip Condotel, located conveniently just 150 meters from the sand.
For those looking to enjoy some water sports, I have included some important advice in the video. While Jomtien generally sees fewer jet ski damage scams than Pattaya Beach, it is highly recommended to take photos of the watercraft before you ride and point out any pre-existing damage to the operator.

Although Peter's bars are big, bright and good, I think the smaller bars that are equally entertaining such as Escobar, Longtail and Joy Joy deserve at least a mention.

This time last year I was getting ready to go to Jomtien on the first of November for 3 weeks with my Thai wife this year I'm going into hospital in November for a hip replacement how quick things change
