What would you change abuot the final season?

It's crazy how Homelander not killing people is like 25-30% of the problem with the final season.

I think A train and homelander’s encounter should have been a more destructive event. Imagine A train going out of his way to not run thru ppl while homelander burns and destroys everything in his path just to catch him

Sister sage being an anti hero would have been so interesting

If M.M. still adopts Ryan, who has the Soldier Boy powers, that would be a really fitting ending.

Butcher should've been moving like Eren Yeager in AOT's final season

I wish HL didn’t randomly kill Firecracker but instead her religious arc would be more explored in season 4. It would be even better in general if season 4 was HL taking over america earlier and season 5 solely about preparations to kill him and Vaught

The final episode being Butcher vs The Boys would have been amazing. I think we would still need Hughie to kill him. As Butcher originally brought Hughie into his war, it hits hard that Hughie, his contingency, is the one to end it.

I think the ticking time bomb of Homelander realizing being god won’t make him happy and he just goes scorched Earth just to make others as unhappy as he is would have been great.

I think Sister Sage’s intention should have been (instead of just wanting to read in peace) that she wants to watch the world burn, because past a certain level of intelligence and lack of empathy, everything just becomes boring. And for her, after all these years, this is the first time something is truly exciting again.

The final episode should also make it very clear that vought will never come back as a company, and that no more supes will ever be created. And the few supes that survive are under starlight’s command, and they start doing actual hero stuff. It would make sure that we never get a homelander situation again.

My biggest gripe with this season was that nothing the boys did actually solved anything. When butcher says that there is nothing stopping another homelander from being created he is being correct. So yeah we can’t have an ending like that.
