Which Personality do you think fits Fake Peppino best?

Edit: Yo? This Video kinda popping off, Thanks guys!

@troytheperson139 2 years ago

I honestly think that both personalities are super fucking funny when combined together
Like this goofer turning into a literal eldritch beast when slightly pissed off is fucking hilarious

Fake Peppino is a double edged sword in the PT Community.

@someonerandom8511 2 years ago

My personal headcanon that I like is that he doesn't mean harm, but genuinely doesn't understand what harm means. He doesn't have bones, his body bends and squishes, he isn't even defeated in his boss battle, so why would he know what pain means? He's dangerous because he doesn't know what danger is.

@johntslug 2 years ago

I like how fake peppino is this terrifying shapeshifting monster, but the community all went, "aww! look at the scrimblo! The scrungly!"

@Mikescool444 2 years ago

The best version of FP is the one where you can see blood drip from his chin and his skin melt and fuse with bone and muscle. And everyone sees him and goes “ay Bruh go get the remote”

@delirium8516 2 years ago

I love body horror abomination-type creatures, and Fake Peppino has to be one of the most fun and unexpected monsters on that spectrum.
I'm glad you enjoy my dubs! I started doing them kinda out of frustration from seeing only cute and friendly fan content on him, so i took matters into my own hands and prepared some unique and obscure SFX work to bring more life into the comics, the result is a Fake Pep that is more in line with the in-game experience: being attacked by an unknown, territorial horror with shapeshifting abilities

@OutWithTheOdd 2 years ago

Fake Peppino is such a fun character when thinking of his personality.
And as a cutesy/horror artist, it's fun to delve into both sides in art!
I can draw him in the most uncanny, grotesque and disturbing way imaginable, AND I can draw him as a soft, lovable friend! 💖💖💖

Peppino is actually a war vet in canon!

McPig was drunk when he denied it and said he was afterward

@duckduck4073 2 years ago

Personally, I lean towards FP acting like a silly goober, but looking like an oversized wax figure that was left out in sunlight for a little too long. Also, a lot of the comics that show him being horrific and territorial take place in the tower before he had met real Peppino, so in a lot of them it's entirely possible he became a goofy goober after the events at the tower.

@TJ-hg6op 2 years ago (edited)

Appearent the defunk of peppino being a war vet was defunked. Apparently McPig was just drunk when he said that. Both versions work extremely well in separate scenarios, I prefer the silly one but I love seeing the nightmarish versions as well.

@Palco_Exists 2 years ago

About the war veteran thing, mcpig said he was a bit drunk when he said that "he probably imagined it" and that peppino IS a war vet

i am so FUCKING glad fake peppino finally gets the attention he deserved now. I remember researching the whole ass internet when i saw him in that one desert UFO build

@AbsoluteDark 2 years ago

Fake pep is seen in the credits having wholesome moments like attending the Halloween party, but he still copies peppino which is creepy still. But he also has his dark moments like in the credits he's seen confronting Peppino holding a trash bag with a bone sticking out of it and they just stare at each other. Creepy but still goofy in both images, the way they portray him is pretty canonical if you ask me.

@rainbowsylvie16 2 years ago

i like when people manage to combine these two sides of fake peppino, where he's a goofy "little" guy that could be a good friend if you can overlook the more unnerving parts of him, but is still far from harmless and won't hesitate to do violence to you if you fucked up in some way, and you're probably not making it out if it happens. my personal ideas for him is very much like this, where he's peaceful but not harmless, overall kind of a chill guy who just wishes to to be seen as a person just like anyone else, but his lack of understanding of the outside world and low impulse control(and poor anger management at times) ends up making him sorta(very) intimidating/unnerving to new people, but it's not like that reputation isn't earned however, he knows what he's done, regret levels vary. he's got those cryptid vibes. bro gave me brainrot and helped me realize my subtle interest in speculative biology. he's so frog coded yet like a cat to me. i don't like when people treat him like an animal, that's a whole man. this comment is long enough, i should stop.

@CombustibleClown 2 years ago

we love a character that can be silly and a horror beyond our comprehension

@MythicMachina 2 years ago

Personally, I think both side at the same time work really well. Fake Pep is this enigmatic being mixed with body horror. As you said, he lacks any strict personality and is really a big mystery. Having him swing back and forth from goofy to violent and terrifying is a great way to keep that mystery about him while keeping him unerving. He may be docile now... but what if he snaps? How do we know what might cause him to snap in the first place?

This also lines up with the actual boss fight where his first attack doesn't even really feel like an attack. It's more like he's trying to get a good look at you. It's not until you draw first blood where shit goes crazy.

The most disturbing boss in pizza tower... Fake peppino

@That0nething420 2 years ago

I love how Fake Peppino is both "Silly little goober :3"

and

0:49 One thing I'd like to mention is how the RecD lyrical cover managed to incorporate both of these sides. On one hand he is this goofy goober that puts shredded glass and entire pigs on pizzas, on another, he is a still big threat trying to kill Peppino, which he almost manages to do twice in the cover.
