A very important point made at around 18:00 is the Captain saying if you disagree with anything I'm doing, feel free to speak up or take action. This is a huge improvement in safety and must be applauded. In the not-so-distant past, the Captain would not be questioned and that has caused many air disasters. This crew is amazing, bravo for a perfect flight. Cheers

Its always so good to hear the briefing and good to know that learning from the past experiences captain and first officer take into consideration what the other has to say or add. Hierarchy does not matter here, what matters is working as a team and completing the given responsibility.

Im 65 and i suddenly feel like a dinosaur. The A350 cockpit looks to be a wonderful place to work in and logically laid out so there's no hands waving all over the place to move switches etc. The Airplane i flew, they designed and built it and just before it was released to the RAF appeared to realize they had not put any lights on it. Solution, put the lights on it then dot the switches for them all around the cockpit. Ergonomic slum was a good summary of that cockpit.

Incredible! Airbus gets it. I was at the Toulouse location doing some calibrations a few years ago.

I love how informative the pilots are breaking down everything they’re doing.

Also what an amazing cockpit. Can’t imagine how it is for some of the pilots that have been around a few decades and were previously flying wide bodies on steam gauges and paper maps etc. The evolution of glass cockpits and airplane tech is amazing!
