This isn't even poor care, this is just animal abuse.

If you have a phone and the time to film content to share online, then you have the ability to do a basic google search. There is absolutely NO excuse for inadequate care anymore.

I just can’t believe this is still going on in 2026, there’s so much info from just a quick google search

I was so disgusted seeing that family torturing the guinea pig, a guinea pig cage is already too small and they buy a hamster cage. What is that motger teaching her kids.

We need stricter animal abuse laws

Do these people realize these cages are the equivalent of a person living in a closet with very little food and enrichment? It IS like a jail cell, like you said. So sad 😭

Actually flinched when they stepped on the hamster. How do these people find that funny? Imagine how they would've reacted if it was a puppy or a kitten instead, the entire Internet would be in uproar. These animals deserve kindness too, every pet does. They rely on you. Don't buy a pet when you can't properly care for it, I don't care whether it's a dog or a mouse, it's a living being, not a toy.

I could understand that kids don't really comprehend the proper care of an animal... But what are those parents doing?? If the kid is underage living in your house, it's ALWAYS the parents responsibility to care for those animals. Always!

This is disgusting. These little animals are totally dependent on their owners for everything. Those people should be reported!

The poor hamster that got stepped on!! Poor baby😢

These videos are actually really hard  to watch 😢

Animals are living things NOT toys, the rat and guineapig one just made me want to cry, i seriously see SO much bad care everyday of rats, hamsters, rabbits, guineapigs, and im not even thinking of owning rabbits or hamsters and ik the correct stuff they need, i educate a little bit on pet rats because it HURTS seeing people with too small of cage, not enough enrichment and not doing proper research.

We had a bunny in a hut like that back when you couldn't so easily google their care. The first summer we had her, we got someone to petsit, and we decided the bunny could just have the whole terrace while we were gone, so the petsitter wouldn't have to clean her hut.

So, we let her out, and she was immediately popcorning around in joy at her sudden freedom. Mom took one look at that and declared that we were NEVER putting her back in there.

The hut instead became a permanently open shelter for her to jump into when it was raining.

It was a fully stone walled terrace, and since big predatory birds aren't common in my area of the world, it was safe for her. And she was MUCH happier. So, I definitely agree that those huts aren't suitable for bunnies.

Rats and piggies together oh my lord...

14:46 “All the space she needs to explore and move around” whilst that massive rabbit just about has enough space to turn around and zero enrichment to ‘explore’ 🙄

I hate it when people cheap out on or avoid buying vital pet equipment (tanks, cages, heaters, filters, proper bedding, proper food, proper toys, etc.) because they “can’t afford it”. If you can’t afford a properly sized cage/tank and all of the accessories needed for the animal to thrive, you can’t afford the pet. You aren’t entitled to a pet, but animals are entitled to proper care.

This is freaking animal abuse this is disturbing and disgusting to watch

What is crazy about these cages is they’re 4x the price of a c&c. People are spending too much money to torture these animals.

That is animal abuse they need to be reported.😢😢😢😢😢

In general a lot of people view rodents as disposable toys, which is really upsetting. They’re just as valuable as any dog or a cat, just because they don’t live as long doesn’t make their lives any less precious.
