- your content needs to be enticing enough for people to watch it fully and engage
- your content needs to be the best compared to other videos on the subject
- post daily 1-4x (whatever amount you can do consistently)
- download content calender
- categorize and optimize your video to be searchable using keywords
- post about similar topics
- increase the watch time by getting people to stop and watch your video
- titles that are doing well on that topic
- study good content
- make it original
- text on screen
- strong verbal hook
- tell the viewer what they are going to get out of the video

I've been posting for almost 3 months now and i'm following every rule i see and trying so hard, haven't had a day off (i post ~2 times a day) and atm i only have 350 followers, that feels soo discouraging 😭

I’ve noticed getting right to the points helps keeps them locked in

What people need to get is THEY ARENT GOOD LOL I WAS SO WEIRD ON CAMERA AND I actually like being on camera so… I learned , you don’t just jump on camera and become a PRO in 3 months! You need to give your SOUL and then by the time you get picked up you’ll be too burnt out to keep going, so this isn’t for everyone babes! That’s why so FEW get SUPER FAMOUS…Can’t post too much, or skip a day and you need to keep yourself on camera and be AUTHENTIC. If you don’t authentically like what you’re doing omg good luck 😂- sorry I took my own advice bc I also may suck

I don't have a question but a suggestion/request, I'm currently starting out and it would be perfect if you made a video with practical edit tips/ retention script tips/ hook tips. What do you think of it? Love your videos❤

Really quality videos. You deserve any success that comes your way. Thanks for the useful info my man

One thing this video doesn't mention that really moves the needle: your first frame matters almost as much as the hook itself, because TikTok's algorithm tests your content on a small batch of viewers and measures whether they stop scrolling within 0.3 seconds. Try filming your opening with movement already in progress rather than a static talking head — it disrupts the scroll pattern. What's the biggest difference you all noticed between a video that flopped and one that randomly took off? 🤔

Thanks for the advice,Mike! I really appreciate your content and find it really helpful! My question is, for my niche (books) how important do you find niching down to a genre? I truly read a little bit of everything and want to share about all of the books I read! Or should I play on being the person that reads a little bit of everything? My focus currently is being relatable as a reader so I make a lot of content with that.

I've watched your vids over the last few days and honestly, I've heard others say the same thing but the way you explain things sticks so thank you for that.

Mike, solid breakdown of the algorithm mechanics and the 200-view test phase. But there's a costly blind spot in the "pick one niche and post 100 videos" approach: most creators commit to ONE angle for 30-60 days only to realize it doesn't convert. Smart move: test 3-4 angles in parallel for 14 days—use aged accounts from accsmarket to skip the trust-score grind, post identical content but frame it for different avatars ("for moms" vs "for athletes" vs "for students"), measure which gets best watch time and CTR, THEN commit your main account to the winner. You compress validation from months to 2 weeks and don't waste half your momentum on a dead-end niche.
