Great lesson thanks. Focus on where you want to end rather than where you start    .  You then have a definite sense of direction.

I’ve got the Hal Galper book and it is great. But practically speaking , your lesson here is a perfect encapsulation of the concept that i can practice right away and see results. Awesome stuff!

Really good  concept! Its like adding a bright; kinda dissonant, color on beat 4. Thx Christian for your explanantion

Very good. I have Hal Galpers book and always go back to it

Thank you for this lesson. Lately I've focused more on forward momentum. It was Tom Quayle's very strong grasp of forward momentum that first sold me on the theme.

That is a nice way of practicing licks . Back to front, excellent 👍

Very articulated and interesting lesson. Thank you so much Christian. Blessings

Thanks Christian! Cool video

Great Info IMO Thank you for helping move my Jazz Vocab up way more levels

Very good as always!

FM is an absurdly wordy book for a simple idea that you can easily hear and learn from records.

I just saw a video that mentions it a bit,It sure is a very good video.

Thanks Christian. Very good. I can't the link to the Peter Bernstein video that you mention.

Hey mate! Thanks for the interesting video as always! One question - was panning your voiceover to the left on purpose?

I'm noticing that the tab for the F7 Wes lick (3:25) is incorrect (or else I'm misreading it?) although the music is fine.

Good lesson. PS, stave is ok but tab isn't correct.

its mystery to me, how can you play and count at the same time. i ve just realized i will never be capable musician, sorry for venting

You're losing the music, dude! And no, Hal didn't invent anything. The target note concept is old as shit in jazz.
