Idea for next week's video: Sam does basic contortion tricks blindfolded 🤣

You guys need to do a performance/show together, where you do both of your tricks and combine them. 🎭🎪✨

Elena I’m also a rhythmic gymnast!!! My DA in development was throw catch in legs on the floor(what sofie did)

You and Elena should definitely be special guest stars on Sesame Street, the muppet show and fraggle rock!

Elena having fun on the silk like a little kid cuteeee 😊😊😊

I love your videos they are so good i love gymnastic contorsion and i love acrobats

Hey Sofie, here's an idea for a partner gymnastics challenge you could try. It's called the Partner Roll Challenge. If you haven't seen it before, it's where two people sit face to face, hug each other, lock their legs around each other to form one tight ball, and then roll across the floor together.

I've seen many people do it across the internet. Even the Rybka twins tried it one time. But I couldn't find anyone who did it with their legs beneath their shoulders. Everyone always puts their legs over their shoulders. I was hoping that you might try it with your legs under your shoulders instead of above. Some people might want to see what that looks like with legs beneath shoulders.

I've been looking into the low-leg version specifically, where the legs are below the shoulders, not over.

Everyone does it with legs over the shoulders because gravity helps you lock in. The low version is possible too. It's just harder to see how it works.

The trick I found is the feet have to hook into the hip pockets. You sit face to face, knees to your chest, reach over each other's shoulders and grab behind the shoulder blade, and pin your elbows down to your own ribs. Then instead of putting your legs over their shoulders, you wrap your legs around their low back, around the hips.

And the feet can't be pointed. You have to pull your toes up and press the flat of your foot right into that hard hip bone. That's what actually holds you. If your feet are on the soft part of their back, you'll just slide off.

You touch foreheads lightly, tuck your chins, squeeze your knees together, and make yourselves into one tight ball. That's what the picture I have shows.

From there you don't just try to roll. You rock a little bit together first, like 1, 2, 1, 2, to get the timing. If your feet start slipping there, you reset. When it feels locked, one of you leans back and pulls the other over. You have to keep squeezing in the whole time, not pushing away.

The reason I think two people who are fit would get it easier is not because they're stronger. It's because they can hold that squeeze longer without their knees flaring out. I saw a video of a husband and wife where the husband's feet kept slipping off because he wasn't keeping that hook. They actually did way better with legs below than above because they couldn't even get into the over-the-shoulders position.

If your neck or knee hurts, you just let go. But when you get that hook right, it feels locked and you can actually get a couple of rolls.

Why don't you try it with a friend for one of your YouTube challenges? I'm sure you'll pull it off very well. With your insane flexibility, you'll make it look like a superpower.

Coming from the instagram liveee 🤠

Sweet. More head to head competition of contortions and gymnastics. Jack Payne, IMMY Taylor, and Anna mcnulty did do videos like this in the past. And now, it’s, Elena SHINOHARA’s turn. It would be more fun if you collaborate with The MMGYMSISTERS, Emerald Gordan Wulf, Chloe gymnast, The Mcfive circus family, and Orissa Kelley.

Everyone under 1 hour gather here👇👇👇

You have to make more vidss with samm!!

Came from the live I love you so much sofie
