Why Your Mushroom Photos Aren’t Sharp — and How to Fix It

In this video, I break down the process of capturing sharp, detailed images of fungi and mushrooms during autumn. Photographing fungi can be challenging — low light, small subjects, and shallow depth of field all make it difficult to get the entire subject sharp.
I show how I overcome those challenges using focus stacking, taking multiple shots at different focus points to ensure the cap, gills, and stem are all in perfect focus.

Are you manually focusing or letting the camera do it (like the Olympus does)
Getting down low. Great advice; wish I didn't see that gorgeous tripod 😇. I don't use it much; however my Vanguard tripod gets down lower --- even below ground level

so i get back pain and a headace from hanging upside down over my camera to input my settings.
hope Nikon will fix this soon, it's frustrating ! hope a firware fix will fix it ASAP
