Here's a long one to make up for how short the Ankheg entry was lol This one actually damn near killed my computer during rendering so I hope it's worth it! Hit that sub button if ya want, but otherwise, I hope everyone enjoys it and finds it useful :D

Edit: Oh and don't mind me, I'm still learning how to edit and I just figured out how to actually incorporate transitions, I hope it's not super obnoxious lmao

Cania: can reach -60 degrees Fahrenheit
People from Finland: casually standing outside dressed only in their underwear smoking a cigarette

Currently writing a campaign based in the Hells, and this was straightforward, well made, and very helpful. Thank you mate!

I love trying to find the truth about Asmodeus’s origins. I think he was one of the serpents of law that Zuzu corrupted after Tharazdun allowed the Obarynths to enter the multiverse

Just thought I'd pop in for a comment. I'm an old AD&D guy from the earliest days. I'm since retired from gaming, but I'm now a fantasy writer, and a goodly chunk of my current story takes place on Phlegethos, so I'm here doing research. I appreciate your detailed descriptions! Cheers!

Loved the video. Def need more:) you’re a great narrator and the video as well as sound editing is perfect. Thank you.

This description of the layers is very similar to the one contained in the table top strategy game Inferno (released 30 years ago). It is clearly Ethan both games were based on Dante’s Divine Comedy, but there are some differences among them: the fifth layer was a sea of acid where devils battled using ships.
In Inferno, each layer represented one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Wish I had the manual with me, but even after decades I remember most of the description.

Good work on your video, the images and descriptors you Gave were really great, in fact it actually helps with a theory I have I want to expand or do something with. That our mental image of hell is the only image our brains will give for the primitive times of pangea and times leading up to its cataclysmic separation. A story of real life angels and demons,(primitive nights wearing primitive armour).

This is my personal favorite of yours...
Thanks

Solid work!

Pack up boys, we are going to hell for a tour

Oh dang!

The secrets of the Ancient Baatorians interest me more

Loved it!!! I'm excited for the continuation videos of this, great work :)

A little late, but Diz is at 3:08 for anyone else who was looking

Good stuff. Keep goin

Lord Ao should go down to each level and just play constant tricks on them, for a day or two. Tell Asmodeus he's thinking of completely renovating the entire Hells to be his own personal peaceful sanctuary. Things like that. Just to mess with all these devils.

I'm currently playing a drow fighter/1 divine soul sorcererx in service to Asmodeus. (The backstory was actually one of the longest I've ever created, mostly because I wanted to give him reasons to adventure with a good aligned party (especially in a campaign where the drow are our main enemies) and not cause problems of cohesion and intra-party conflict. But also I couldn't create a character with an infernal contract built in and not give the DM plenty of stuff to draw on. The extremely abridged version is that he wanted to escape Lolth because he was ordered to sacrifice his daughter (who had converted to worship of Elistraee) and he reasoned that the only way to escape the service of a greater deity was to pledge himself to an even greater deity, besides there weren't many gods that would accept drow. So he made a contract with Asmodeus to get himself and his daughter to safety, Asmodeus as always definitely came out with the better end of the bargain)

I definitely appreciate the refresher, I'm pretty familiar with Avernus, Cania, and Nessus (well as familiar as you can be on the latter) but my knowledge of the other 6 hells is lacking.

This is a great vid. Sound was waayyy too loud though

And, I know that >you< know - but sound - seriously. You're off to a decent start, let's see how it goes.
