■ The average sale price of apartments in Seoul has surpassed 1.2 billion won. That is not all. Small and medium-sized apartments in Gyeonggi Province, which used to trade for 100 to 200 million won, are now being traded at more than double their value in just half a year, while subscription competition rates for officetels easily exceed hundreds to one. Non-homeowning working-class people are turning their attention from Seoul to the outskirts, and from apartments to villas. There, a "game" involving speculators awaits them. How will this crazy market, a mixture of desperation and greed, come to an end? We examined the harsh reality faced by non-homeowning working-class people in the winter of 2021 and the outlook for the real estate market in 2022.
※ This video is [Current Affairs Planning Window - The End of the Crazy Market], which aired on December 5, 2021.
