please dont take this the wrong way, but i love that this is just about painting, and not focused on the aesthetics of painting if that makes sense! it feels super authentic in the best way!

I’m from Brazil and a beginner at plein air painting. Your art is incredible and inspires me to create; thank you for sharing your amazing artworks.

Natalie…YOU ARE SUPER TALENTED!!! Your paintings WOW! My fav is the shady path - love the colors. Second, red barns. And then you also do beautiful ceramics. You are so driven. You will go far!

Ahhh I loved this so much! Good vibes & beautiful art! So happy this got recommended to me :D

Beautiful paintings. I painted in Cedarburg too!  The birds are North American pelicans!

i adore the red underpaint poking through sooo much you’re so freaking skilled. i just started painting (with watercolors which is what i have for now lol) and colors between values and brightness are so crazy difficult!! i hope to be as good as u are someday :)

You might be interested in another Illinois plein air event … it’s only about 3 years old. It is hosted in St Charles on the Fox River and started just this week for this year. It is run by the St Charles Arts Council which has a webpage.  Two other St. Charles organizations that have routine art exhibits yearly are Fine Line and the Norris Cultural Arts Center. Hope to meet you out this way sometime..and love your work. Barb Backley
