I can tell you why Fred Durst is in Fight Club: The game contains one of his songs.

He has (Or had, I don't know if it's still followed) a rule in his contracts, for whatever reason: If a game wants to license any Limp Bizkit song, Fred Durst must be playable in that game.

He's also in a few wrestling games, because there was a time when The Undertaker was using Rollin' as entrance music.

Love the idea of taking your "worst games" format and applying it to consoles 😀

You taking a moment to do a careful explainer of what "Pimp My Ride" was  (for those that don't know it) made me feel old as hell 😂

"shoot with the R1 button, which is kinda odd to get used to."  man.. I'm old

"It was also released [...] in Europe as America's Ten Most Wanted"
That sentence made me experience that flashback scene from Ratatouille. I KNEW this doggone shovelware piece of crap looked familiar in the intro.

@20:45 They missed a golden opportunity to set it to 12 FPS max to mimic the stop motion style of the show

Celebrity Deathmatch feels like the sort of game your friend's tomboy sister owns and no other games.

25:05 - wasnt Tommy Lee a Drummer though...? for Motley Crue?

...so not only did they Not Have 'enough' characters, but they Barely "researched" the ones they HAVE??

The Tekken games on the PS1 had better-looking 3D models in their cutscenes than Fight Club (and Tekken did use full-motion cutscenes) 💀💀

Marla was a pretty important character in Fight Club. Iirc she's both the only recurring female character and only recurring character not part of the club. She is the outsider's perspective.

Pimp my Ride was fake as f**k anyways. My friend's brother was on the show. He did an AMA on Reddit a very long time ago about it. Basically they added crap to the car without fixing any of the mechanical problems. He did say one of the dudes from the garage was great though and helped him with some mechanical problems.

"Bike" seems like the BMX portion of Tony Hawk's American Wasteland - just horrifically executed.

The fact that Street Vert Derp released after 3 iterations of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater with that level is quality is just criminal.

Fugitive Hunter is an absolute hidden gem though.

So Tommy Lee uses a guitar in Celebrity Death Match? Isn't he a drummer?

Pimp My Ride could have been an easy game to pull off too. Just give you a set budget and let you go wild trying to make the most insane car imaginable. It's a video game, so it doesn't even have to adhere to reality. You could have a fish tank with a live Elasmosaurus in the back or give it jet engines to make it go faster or something. It probably wouldn't be a good game still, but that still had to have been better than this.

Haven't played all of these, but can confirm that Fight Club, Fugitive Hunter and 25 to Life are all deserving of the reviews haha

Sorry to hear about KingCobra. Whatever your relationship with him was, it was nice of you to make a documentary on such a unique person.

13:28 he has a thing where if a game uses his music, he’s put in the game. I’m not joking.
