Did I watch the shorter video already? Yes. Am I going to watch the 3 hour video? Also yes.

After watching you play this a second time: my understanding is that Harlequin understood that Columbina asked him to “save” her, aka kill her, because she was going to be sold and continually SA’d. He loved her, but she loved Pierrot, so not only did he not get his lover but he then had to kill her, to spare her a terrible fate, and then disguised it as satiating their hunger (because they were also all literally starving). The masks that Columbina refers to is that everyone then remembers it differently to protect themselves from the truth. Jester seems to highly remember Harlequin’s jealousy (also, really love that when Jester says “I’m sorry, Harlequin,” Columbina makes it a point to say “he’s not.” So he may know more than he’s letting on / may not be a great dude lmao). I think the saddest part about that is when Harlequin tells the story, while he refers to Columbina as an Angel, he doesn’t present it as she wanted to die. He remembers her terror, her pleading for him to stop, when in reality Columbina had asked him to do this, to kill her. It’s really sad all around. Which after all that no wonder Harlequin snapped and kinda lost it. In one fell swoop he lost his love and the respect of the only friends he’s ever had. He became a real monster.

I've never been this attached to a yandere game... or a yandere in general

Ok but can we talk about the fact that Pierrot is a consent king?

Pierrot is… yes. mmmmm

I just saw a video by humanteneleven that explains why the Americans pronounce mirror like mere, and it's because the American dialect has R-colored vowels, meaning that vowels near the the letter R will have an er or an uh sound, which means the word will often get swallowed by the R, like further.. and with the word mirror the problem is that you have two R-colored vowels next to each other, so Americans have basically grown used to just combining the two into one this process of combination is actually called haplology !

1:21:55 omg i just realized this is when he slipped into his yandere voice without even realizing 😂

2:20:43 aww shucks, I’m glad that nino likes how we say “meer” 🥰 I’ve always found it funny, but it feels so unnatural to me to say it the proper way lol

2:59:49 i cried twice at the techno scene and at the end of the minecraft movie 😭

We all agree the creators have to be fans of Helluva Boss right?
(Not an insult - I think it’s fun)
