Pretty neat little 200 size heli Bert! I like the features presented here , especially having one's choice of FBL and RX. I've been inspired by these direct drive helis here in recent years, wouldn't mind one myself. Looking forward to a flight video!

nice one Bert...yeah i converted two omp m2's to nexus and had to do a load of research along with f/w for blheli esc getting nexus working on the smaller ones is more difficult again...if i had known this little gem existed i would have been right onto it....not crazy on the stock canopy but you can get some nice varients of it.

I think it's a great concept, lots of guys have spare FBL units laying around . Plus the Nexus units are rather inexpensive for those that use RadioMaster stuff ... The integration of the ESC and motor is brilliant ... Looking forward to your flight review.....

Great video Bert. Now it’s time for you to go out and throw down. Lay the smack!

Nice review and tips. Just one thing: I never use blue or other Loctite on the screws fixing the tail props. I experienced that even smallest amounts of loctite can cause that the plastic prop gets brittle and might explode in flight. In my opinion the friction of the screw head and / or the washer on the plastic prop is enough to "lock" the two screws. And I cotrol their tightness regulary. But thats just my opinion.

Bert...Does the Azure blade pre-order option also come with Azure tail blades. Looks like you got a plastic jobbie.

We can't use the IKON FBL because the way XL did the wires, they are way too short and won't reach. I have an ikon MINI and the WIRES SIMPLY do NOT REACH. I am bummed out about that.
