shes feels weird to play imo, maybe shes one of those heroes that need a specialist piloting them like sinclair and doorman i think

I think compared to release rat she isnt as insta teamfight win but in long long fights she steals and shreds SO much... but her 2 is one of the most fun and unique abilities in the whole game!!

I like that her kit is like a little mecha, with jump and slam mechanics, cluster missles, and other weird utility. I think she should exist as another space maker, counter-tank sort of hero. I think Valve power-scaling is good for design. They can always go back and add skill expression to heroes like Warden. Baba is mechanically interesting but doesn't seem overtuned.

I really like how interactive her kit is to fight against. The sap is dodgable, the long legs melees can be parried, her brew takes time to cook and her ult can be interrupted, stepped out of range against and evaded with the right items/ abilities. It’s definitely gonna take some time to figure out her playstyle and how to counter it effectively so I agree that making big changes now would be premature

Baba is the most Dota character they've released so far with how weird her kit is. That game has a lot of characters that have a weird niche or learning curve to them the way she does

shes one of those super high skill floor characters, so even though her stats are pretty great and the sap makes you spirit diff the fuck out of enemies, that doesnt make you insta-win because you can still fuck up if you suck. i think shes shockingly cool, but yeah OP is to be seen with people that actually know what theyre doing. it seems like shes reasonably balanced though

A lot of the early characters do feel more like concepts than fleshed out designs and kits - like geist is magic drain tank, seven is aoe big damage, abrams is generic punch tank, etc.. and it's totally fine for them to have simpler kits, but hopefully with the remodels, a few of those simple designs are translated into more nuanced/detailed gameplay.

Im happy with the way the roster is expanding with more nuanced kits like baba's

What an outstanding character design

I fucking love babas design man a fucking pigeon old lady always in parks in New York is so cool

I don’t think any character design in any game ever past present or future will top how Ratking has +120 voicelines just for his 2 ability because he cares  about all his lil rat buddies so very much :)

The thing that intrigues me the most is that she can shield troopers. Theres a couple other abilities that can effect how things interact with walkers and gaurdians by just being a mini tank for them like graves undead or the  mcginnis turrets, but its just a unique thing to have

My feeling is I think she probably will (probably) be OP but I think bar to execute her is so, so much higher. Anyone could get value from ratking's ult, where as Baba feels a lot more player dependant.

she works insanenly well with spirit scaling items , notible reactive barrier , since shes quite squishy and you are basicly guaranted to trigger it in fight

she feel like "Disruptor Supporter Roamer" mix together it very hard to play and master her.

Don't forget Mina launched with like a 40% wr too and she was actually one of the most busted heroes of that patch for people that knew how to play her

my man so confident that solomon Will be release on Friday 😅

I love that her kit is a bit complicated. She's gonna require somebody that knows what they're doing, and long legs gives her so much mobility. I think she will thrive in mid range with the ability to get in and escape

You can buffer the slope jump by holding space as soon as she starts going down from the heavy melee. This feels very intentional.

She's basically the spirit equivalent to Razor in Dota 2

I think the best way to play her is as a fight disrupter. Early game her 1 gives her a lot of bullet dmg but it kinda falls off and she starts going into a more tank build. Building things like radiant regeneration and just using her heavy melee in the middle of a fight, spamming silence and stealing spirit while pulling everyone around her with her 1. Seeing as she gets heavy melee damage and spirit resist from spirit which she can steal she can just build tank or utility items.
