2:29 So at the beginning of the game mummified Ganondorf shattered the Master Sword and drained almost all of the vitality out of Link by severely burning and infusing his arm with gloom. When Rauru rescues Link he realizes that the cursed arm will kill him so he gives Link his phantom arm (somehow) but all of Link's vitality is still gone which means Rauru wasn't able to fully heal Link from the gloom, he just stopped the spread of it. When Link receives a light of blessing some of the gloom that lingers is cleansed from him.

Sorry this is so long. I'm tired and was working this out for myself while I was typing. Have a good time of day

Fun fact the broken master sword has infinite durability in the room of awakening only, so the player can’t get soft locked by breaking the sword and being unable to break the vines. I believe once the sword runs out of durability it doesn’t come back as for story reasons that was the last bit of power it had

Your the best!🤗

On gsi when getting across the lake U could have thrown the barrel to activate the fan I think

You could’ve left the first room without the master sword by utilizing alternate timelines to send a burning torch between dimensions (just sayin’)

there is a way to get past the vines without grabbing the sword, PointCrow did it in his Masterswordless run
