Yay! Super excited to hear your thoughts. I don’t know how controversial of a take this is, but DR S4 has become my absolute favorite season. The new ninja plot with cryptor is a little lazy, but the HIGHS this season reaches are beyond what I thought was possible

My ranking:
1. Sons of Garmadon (100/10) everything was perfect, peak animation, new design, perfect villain
2. Hunted (9.5/10) everything especially return of Skylor and the resistance was great and Faith was great character. I only dislike Iron Baron character is very typical villain
3. Rise of the Snakes (9/10) Pythor was great villain very sneaky but sometimes stupid especially with releasing the Great Devaurer and Lloyd as villain was great and funny only sometimes Ninjas should be more mature and animation coukd be better but this isn't problem for loving this season
4. Crystalized (8/10) Harumi was great and her redemption was better than Morro's redemption, Garmadon's return was great and his interactions with Lloyd were funny, using of Vengestone was great idea. The biggest problem is the Overlord and again he doesn't have any motivation
5. Dragon Rising season 2 (8/10) Great season and yes this tournament were better than in season 4 especially we have more elemental power like size for example
6. Possesion (7,5/10) very good season I love Morro and how he used Lloyd's body for his plans even that wasn't necessarily and his plans was perfect, but his death was totally no sense he would easily survived if he was more careful and more aware that his master would take him to the Ocean and Morro should be the main villain
7. Tournament of Elements (7/10) very good season good villain, but his plans were no sense he would just steal Skylor's powers instead organize the Tournament
8. March of the Oni (7/10) Great season, Garmadon's return, Lloyd is the main ninja which is good thing, but Oni should be more powerful and they were defeated by tornado of Creation
9. The golden weapons (6,5/10) good episodes, but animation was very bad and citizens of village looks like clones
10. Skybounds (6/10) good season were Jay was more mature and responsible and Nadakhan one of the greast villains but he would became immune to Tiger Widow venom and his motivations were unclear we doesn't know that he wanted wife, new djinjago or just having infinite wishes
11. Dragon rising season 1 (6/10) good season especially Arin's and Sora's story and how Ryiu was joined to team I like this and Ras is really good villain, but I have problem with Imperium especially Beatrix who is one of the worst villains in my opinion
12. Reeboted (5,5/10) mid season Pythor and Overlord return what were very good, but love triangle between Cole, Jay and Nya was very stupid and random just because machine said Cole is Nya's perfect match and the idea that Kai hating technology were very stupid especially that kai enjoying playing video games
13. Seabound (5,5/10) Good season I love interaction between Nya and Maya, but Kalmar was annoying villain for me maybe not terrible like Asphera, but still he was annoying and racist too
14. Legacy of the green ninja (5,5/10) this is season could be higher if Garmadon were more intelligent of using mega weapon
15. Dragon Rising season 4 (5/10) mid season Lloyd's death was very emotional, Cryptor return and Zeatrix as good guy is very good, but Wyldfyre leadership was very bad and return of Beatrix was terrible idea
16. Prime Empire (5/10) this is mid season Jay was very good in this season, Okino Character was very good, but Unagami was the biggest dissapointed that very intelligent villain is only a child and not real treat
17. Secrets of forbidden Spinjitzu (3,5/10) it is very bad season, in first episode we have spoilers about villain and this villain Asphera is one of the worst villains and ninjas were too nerfed and definetly too childish
18. Hands of time (3/10) very bad animation, wasted potential of Time twins, their army were unnecessary and creators were uncreative, because why again army of Snakes
19. Day of the departed (2/10) very bad episode and boring only good were Morro's return and his helping, but he should have more interactions with ninjas and It is no sense that Sensei Yang needs to be in this temple
20. Dragon rising season 3 (1/10) wasted potential Rox is the worst and most stupid villain for believing Thunderfang and whole forbidden five is very weak even skeletons were more powerful
21. The Island (1/10) ninjas are very stupid in this season and this season is very short
22. Master of the Mountain (0,5/10) terrible season ninjas were almost whole season uderground, Vangelis was terrible villains without ambition okay he had slaves for vengestone, but what was his main motivation except making his kingdom more wealthy I don't know, but this season have one pros and this scene where Lloyd doesn't trust Vania, because he thinks that all princesses are not worthy to trust and he thinking that, because his experience with Harumi
1. Sons of Garmadon (100/10) everything was perfect, peak animation, new design, perfect villain

Personally, I enjoy almost every Ninjago season and think that even Hands of TIme and Crystalized have a lot of good.
Eh SOFS is criminally underrated and D S3 has a LOT of highs and I adore them both.
Also Legacy of the Green ninja is incredibly disjointed, it feels like a goofy cartoon, and then an epic journey for Lloyd. But then it goes back to silly and it doesn't work well. The final battle is rushed and anticlimactic, and they did Garmadon SO DIRTY by making him a dumb, incompetent cartoon villain. He was legitimately going to consider using a giant poisoned ham sandwich to defeat the ninja.

27:11 tournament of elements, possession and hunted also did a good job. However, although all ninja get much time in hunted, Kai and jay are just complete morons. Possession would probably be the best but I’m guessing you’re counting it as Lloyd not getting much. In tournament of elements they do something unique for each ninja meanwhile in rise of the snakes it feels like they get similar arcs.
