Tip: always use correct 2x coloured insulation tape to identify correct polarity when using incorrect coloured wire. In your case 2x red on black feed wire.

Using red shrink tubing would be really helpful to keep the + and - cables in the proper order.

That was perfect, thank you. I did remember some advice from my father: When working with a battery make sure the length of your wrench is less than the distance between the terminals.

I have watched so many videos trying to learn this. I wasn’t taught a lot of the basics that most videos assume I should already know - and not only would I have made a mistake I probably would have hurt myself. (Like adding a washer or fuse.) Details matter and so does simplicity. Thank you for making this.

Just set up 2 of the RENOGY 400 watt kits on 2 different buildings,, still run the generator for laundry and well pump everything else is solar ,, love them
