I thank Allah SWT for allowing me to be first an atheist and then coming to Islam because these kinds of arguments won't bring back the thousands of women and children killed by Israel nor does it help to rid the community of Arab nationalism.

At first I was with you.  But after hearing the point being made clear.  I understand it better now from their point of view.  Allah says he has a hand.  He never says how that hand looks you can't say he doesn't have limbs because how would you know that . Because even "if" Allah had limbs his limbs would look nothing like human limbs " because in one breath you saying you can't describe the hands but by saying what his hand doesn't have is describing his hands . The same principle with the rock 🪨 if Allah says he's a rock you can't point to a rock on the road and say Allah is like "that" rock because nothing is like him.

I think a good point to discuss is the different types of Ijma, the proofs of that Ijma, the nonsensical position of denying those types of Ijma and the implication of the entire tradition collapsing without this.

Ijma qati, ijma of the ummah, ijma sukuti, ijma qawli of the sahaba, Ijma of the salaf, ijma of the mujtahideen, Ijma of the fuqaha and so on.

Also how Ijma can be broken, once established 5,10,15 or even 20 or 50  aqwal cannot break Ijma once it’s established.

Al Mutamadul mustanad is a recent book by Ahmed rida khan, sayf ad din al amali, Subki, al Muqdasi and ibn mundhir also wrote on this.

I think this would be a good point to show the people the latitude of Ijma and him restricting it to Ijma Al ummah.

Let me add some real wisdom here! Brother Amin has another issue with Salafiya and few people understand it. I DO! I happened to have been a member of the Masjid on Lincoln Street in East Orange NJ before Abu Muslimah was made Imam. At that time Dawud Adib was Imam and about 3 weeks later Abu Muslimah was made Imam upon returning from the university of Medina. The fact is this: Black Sunni Muslims have been indoctrinated with Arab supremacy! I saw that up close! Black Sunni Muslims were taught and told that any self love was Black nationalism, yet Arabs are to be praised and seen as the spokespersons for Islam inspite of them being only 13% of the Islamic community! What DID happen though is that Abu Muslimah, at least 30 years ago began teaching the truth about the ethnicity of the major Sahabah and the original Arab. At that time, he was accused of being a Black nationalist by some Arab "sheiks" and black Salafis turned on him. He is not really the issue as much as some others.
