In todays video, I attempt to platinum Red Dead Redemption 🏆

This was a great but VERY tedious platinum that I would recommend to anyone! I really did come around to enjoy this game in the end and I would happily platinum this one again when the PS4 port comes down in price!

Be sure to stick around for more upcoming Platinum Trophy videos like this one!

John does't have "little feeling towards Bonnie" ... he has no ROMANTIC feelings towards her, but he has far more than a deep respect for her as a person and definitely values their friendship and relatioship together.

Pursuing any read dead game platinum trophy will lead you to red dead depression…

25:19 That's not John's uncle. Everyone just calls him uncle. There's a pretty fun fan theory that states he is Red Harlow. The main character of the original Red Dead Revolver.

26:59 It wasn't John's intention to defend the entire Ranch. He sacrificed himself. He knew that if the government agents killed him there, they wouldn't go after his family.

Fun fact, the new PS4 port of Red Dead Redemption actually makes it much easier to acquire the platinum because all multiplayer trophies have been removed. I managed to get it in about 45 hours after starting a brand new game.

Something i always like to remember, my Dad nearly 100% the entire story. Got every side objective done, raised his honor to the max, and everything to collect. But he never finished the game because he didn't want to see John die again

I wouldn’t say Dutch’s death was anti climactic. It fits him well, and is makes sense after playing red dead 2

13:53 John murdered the shit out of those horses 💀😭

You did NOT just say Dutch and John final meeting was anticlimactic bro

@Itsfilthyy 3 years ago

Bill saying "you implore me? You i m p l o r e me?" Reminds me of Dutch saying "He INSISTS upon it"🤣🤣🤣

If I had to guess it's 15 Stranger Missions instead of 18 because there's 3 that are I believe John Marston exclusive with his meetings with what I assume is death himself so there's 3 you can just outright miss by beating the game.

With all the money you can earn in this game adjusted for the time period, he could have bought a team of lawyers (which by itself would not help) and bribe a handful of federal judges.
With enough money back then you could buy your way out of anything (maybe even today too lol)

45:48 I haven't played through this game in nearly 15 years, that's a core all the guys laughing at what we just witnessed for 10 minutes memory

I dont know if this platinum is worse, or the one for the PS4 version. Yeah, theres no multiplayer trophies for the PS4 one, but they combined the UN and main game trophies, so you have to do all of them to get the platinum.

Also, its always a lot easier to get all of the miscellaneous trophies while you're playing through the main game. Its less tedious that way because you can work on some inbetween the main missions.

This is my proudest platinum. Mostly due to how hard it was to get the online trophies without having friends to play with (or even a headset).
I had to send text messages to random players from my PS3 and beg them to help me boost the worst ones.
And with the greatest of respect and appreciation, I did find a few people who were willing to set aside several hours of their time to do it.
But I can't even begin to explain what a nightmare it was to tell them what to do while texting them with the controller. UGH!!!
