nice to se you riding at trials day 😁

Great video danny, really enjoyed that.

Great vid as always

Thats a pretty good review!

So good!!

Now you need to do more 125's as a comparison

TRSLUK❤

👍👍

You've got to start somewhere. Been to trialsday a couple of times on a 125. Great to learn on and not to jumpy or powerful to make sketchy moments too dangerous.

I was thinking that a 125 would be a great, fun, second bike. But they are rare as hens teeth here in Canada. No idea why. Fun review. Cheers!

I rode Advanced on 125’s. A good one is with the right jetting is fantastic. Had two Gas Gas 125’s, much better engine than other 125’s I tried especially off the bottom. Rode the local skate park on one as well. So much fun to ride. Longer steep sections where you lose and need to gain big momentum are the trickiest bit. Great vid! Most people would be much happier on a 125 than a 300!

👍

Great video danny must have been strange going back to a 125 in a good way I am on a 125 still and know how tou feel as I only 16 but very tall and heavy and I feel it on hills anyway hoping to get a trs 250 as my next becuse they seem as good bikes and somone said the  frame suits taller people better.

Pat smage competed in an American national expert class this year on a sherco 125 and won

Wasn't someone leading the SSDT on a 125 this year until he dropped a 5?

Good review.A bit lighter ride ? Of course you could have mentioned that George Hemmingway has come 3rd in 2025 and 2026 on a 125 albeit a Beta. But in the Scott not really although I think Alfie Lammpkin finished top 20 a few years back. For club/local level a 125 is quite competitive but 90kg weight pushing it. The power curve is different and you have to adapt. Way, way back in my younger days I had a new TY175 and provided you kept it buzzing was pretty good in the adults Novice class except when it came to long big muddy climbs when it ran out of puff.  Had a brief ride on a 2006 GasGas 125 at Canada Heights and it was good but not in first gear

A mighty wee beast. I asked quite a few bods what they recommended to a mid fifties (total) beginner earlier this year, including you lovely people at trialtube and one person did say a trs 125 one rr. After this review, I am now wondering if at my age, they thought I'd need constant reminders of what I was actually riding? Very nice bike and if I hadn't followed the concensus (Beta 200, as recommended by trialtube) I would have been very happy with one of those.

Well, I ride a TRS 300, my wife rides a TRS 125.
She weighs less than 50 KG, me, 110. We regularly swap bikes, the little 125 is awesome on the ride sections yes it runs out of puff on a big climb or mud, but fir everything else. It's great

Are all recent years TRS bikes worth a look? I'm after a first bike and have gone down the usual Beta Evo, Sherco, gasgas, was looking at 200/250s at first but thinking a 125 is more than enough for my level. Enjoyed the vid btw, interesting watch.

I have considered doing a 1 2 5! It would be an upgrade to my old 280! Does it generate less heat! My 280 gets WARM
