A colleague of my dad took part in the ‘86 camel trophy… all the prep first and later all ‘war stories’… Oh man, did that make a lasting impression; almost 40 yrs later I pretty much jumped up for joy seeing this scale model just yet!

Nice little Crawler. I like it much more than my TRX-4M. I found it funny when he said: I stopped putting drivers in these crawlers and would let the manufacturers do it and then proceeded to put a driver in it. Lol

The number plate on that is actually off a 86 yellow Range Rover 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

According to the specs online, the discovery(and I suspect the other models as well) is actually about an 18th scale. This is excellent news for me, because I have a growing collection of 18th scale crawlers and trail trucks.

What a cracking little thing

You did a very good review and drive. The truck performed extremely well with no updates. The oil shocks were big help. It might've been you or another reviewer who described a good crawler as composed. That applies here. These will sell very well in the UK with all the different models of British trucks/SUV's. It has a lot going for it with bearings, two speed gear box, etc.

Love the coffee beans in that course

Glad you figured out the lights! 🤣😉
I ran the Range Rover today and it definitely performs better than the Discovery. Haven't tried the Defenders yet, but for me the Range Rover and Disco is where it's at. 👍

The gatherings with these things is gonna be great. Camel Trophy spirit! :goodvibes:

Just remember folks no coffee beans were hurt in the filming of this video 😂

At last! I've spent years banging on about how under-represented the OG Range Rover is in the RC world - and at last a manufacturer has come out with a hard-body RTR Rangie!
Even better - it's a cracking RC, with the kind of off-road prowess that made the full-size version legendary. I even quite like the stock wheels - and it comes with sticky tyres too!

Thanks for the crawling demonstration. Many channels only focused on trail running for these.

I’m telling you!
FMS should make a esc system for 24’s or all scale for that matter , to be able to drive 2 or plus cars at a time
I would drive all my rigs at once

Always a fan of mini crawlers

Awesome little crawler! You should put this new version up against the trx4m bronco and newest scx24 with oil shocks. That would be a great video! It would help a lot of people decide on which one to buy. Like myself.
