5:21 , I would go with A  not E because when a new shapes is being introduced to replace its not a shape that has appeared before from the left  to the right... Chosing A is repeating a shape

At 11:47 an easy pattern is that all outer shapes have corresponding shapes opposite to them on the inside, and each pair adds up to 6 units across board. E.g. 5 squares (outside) + 1 square (inside) equals to 6.

Same is the case for the rest.

thankyou so much that was so beneficial for SHL exam for me❤❤❤

For 4:46 did anyone guess the grey arrow was pointing as the hour hand of a clock. And the number it strikes determines the number of sides. For instance, the when the grey hand is on 3 it was a triangle, and for the answer when it's at the 5:00 mark that means it's a pentagon.

At 11:28 the same shapes add up to 6 (6 total shapes of the same kind). So that leaves us with 2 non coloured circles.

10:15 right answer is A. same paterns as abow you cannot produce a new shape in the row. the top shape came for the 2nd  with black color

10:56 I think there is another way to solve this problem:
First, the total number of shapes inside the triangles are the same horizontally and diagonally:
horizontally: 2 🔺 + 3 ⚫ +  4 🔺 + 3 ⚫ = 12
diagonally: 2 ⭐ + 2 🔺+ 4 ⭐ + 4 🔺 = 12
So the total of shapes on the last diagonal line is 12 too: 5 ◼ + ? + 1 ◼ +  4 ⚪ = 12
=> ? = 2 (B or D)
The outer triangles have 3 triangles with black shapes and 3 triangles with white shapes, so the ratio of triangles with black and white shapes will be the same with the inner triangles. Look at the inner triangles; there are 3 triangles with black shapes already, so we need a triangle with white shapes => the answer is B.

Thank you for the valuable information sir

Depending how one rationalizes the observed pattern, there can be a number of "correct" answers.  These tests are formulated in a way that is inherently narcissistic, meaning that only the designer's rationalization is valid and therefore you answer is correct only if you think the same way.  Seems hack-like and amateurish to me, to be honest.

Thank you.

I have another opinion on question 12:22, I notice in one small square (we have 4), no pattern is repeated. So the answer could be C since E repeated the black color and D repeated the strikes.

At 13:00, an easy pattern is that similar shapes all add up to 6 - so we have 4 small dots, and need the one with 2 to make a total of 6

I failed a full section of these. New job interview coming up. Thus has really helped me. Thanks

Thank you so much

I'll have SHL inductive test within week. Your video is very helpful and I hope can join some global corporate strategy as my next career jobs.

For the example that starts at 5:16
The grey arrow points in the direction of a number like the face of a clock.
It always points to the number that is equal to the number of sides of the shape inside the circle.
3, 6, 4 and then ?
Looking at the grey arrow for the ? shape, we need a 5 sided shape for our answer.
Looking at the black arrow, it points up for black and down for white.
For the ?, the black arrow points up.  The answer cannot be B, it must be D.

For your first example, the arrow points in the direction of a number like the face of a clock.
It always points to the number that is equal to the number of sides of the shape inside the circle.
From left to right, 5, 3, 4, 1 then the unknown answer.
Then look at the possible answers, the answer must have a grey dot at the center connected to the arrow. Eliminate B.
Look at A, 12 o'clock and 3 sided triangle.  Eliminate A.
Look at C, 5 sided pentagon, arrow pointing to 7 o'clock.  Eliminate C.
Look at at D, oval shape, 1 sided, arrow pointing to 6 o'clock, Eliminate D.
Look at E, square shape, 4 sides, arrow pointing to 4 o'clock.
As we have eliminated All other choices.  E must be the answer.

At 10:13, your answer should have been option B, the second diagram in the roll gives an express clue.

Kind suggestion: When you solve and you say "small circle" , etc - it may be helpful if you have a pointer or highlight that zone

9:28 how do you not get confused by the spacing of the 2 circles being consistent in option E but not D, but E is not consistent with the shape transformations, which ones should we prioritise?
