Martha Walsh was robbed by C&C Music Factory and black box denied main vocals credit. She sued them good😂

This song is timeless because it's a song that can be heard still to this day in every gay bar on the planet 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'm telling you there's nothing better than 80's music.

I love how uncomfortable this video makes men but women love it. For once you see women singing with scantly clothed men dancing around them, usually it’s the other way around. Me and the rest of the world love this song because it’s so much fun. When this song was played at a party everybody flocked to the dance floor.

LOL, you just witnessed the biggest gay nightclub anthem in history! 🤣

The song was written by Paul Shaffer. Paul was the band leader on The David Letterman Show. The two woman started out as backup singers for disco singer Sylvester. They were know as Two Tons of Fun then.

Early 80's dance club staple!

This song never fails to make me smile. Danced my butt off to it back in the day, and still dance around the house when I hear it. Never gets old.

The Weather Girls were originally back up singers for disco singer Sylvester. You may want to check out some of his music.

The Weather Girls consisted of Izora Armstrong and the great diva, Martha Wash. The song was very popular with gay males, for obvious reasons, a was used in the epic 80s show In Living Color as the theme of the recurring segment Men on Film, with two over the top, stereotypical gay black men played hilariouly by Damon Wayans and David Allen Grier. Wash went solo and became a legendary techno house star, particularly with her multiple platinum hit Everybody Dance Now. Good one for you to do next.

Martha Wash was the one who went on to do a lot of other projects. Her voice was part of groups like C&C Music Factory, Black Box, First Ladies of Disco and Two Tons Of Fun along with numerous other individual recordings.
