Is Finest Punta Cana worth it?

In this full resort review, I take you inside Finest Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic and show you what the experience is really like—from the rooms and pools to the beach, food, restaurants, recreation, gym, spa, sports bar, service, and everything in between.

This isn't a resort advertisement. It's my personal experience, filmed throughout my stay, so you can get a better idea of what the resort actually feels like before booking your vacation.

I spent time exploring as much of the property as possible, including the main pool, additional pool areas, beach, resort grounds, restaurants, buffet, room service, recreation areas, gym, ONE Spa, and Legends Sports Bar.

🍽️ FOOD & DINING

Food was one of the biggest highlights of my stay.

I experienced The Market Kitchen buffet during breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and was impressed by the variety and overall quality. The resort offers international cuisine, Dominican specialties, gluten-free options, and a wide selection of dishes throughout the day.

I also experienced several specialty dining options during my stay.

One of the biggest surprises?


🏖️ THE BEACH

Finest Punta Cana sits along the Dominican Republic's beautiful coastline, with golden sand and deep aqua-blue water.

During my visit, there was some sargassum, and the water was rougher than what some travelers may expect. I include that footage because I believe an honest resort review should show both the good and the things travelers should consider before booking.

🏊 POOLS

The resort offers multiple pool areas, including a large main pool, additional pool areas, children's recreation areas, and outdoor jacuzzis.

The main pool is where you'll find much of the daytime activity, while the other areas provide opportunities for a quieter experience.

🎾 ACTIVITIES & RECREATION

There's much more to do than simply sit by the pool.
