The Australian Outback is just magical. On a work/ study visa I was fortunate to get quite a few weeks on a cattle and sheep station. That experience still lives with me. Riding along with a sunrise and a great big mob of tall red kangaroos keeping pace until they dived sideways through the fencing. Bush people are the true Aussie Gold.

Mate, we did the 4 wd track into Policeman's Waterhole. In our 79 with slideon camper, 4.2 ton . That track certainly was a challenge in places traversing some pretty narly steep slopes, like worried about tipping sideways .
Very much enjoyable. The top Binns section to Timber Creek was also a very nice drive.

Policeman’s waterhole is the nicest place in the Alice Springs/Tennant Creek area to camp, just perfect 👌

Shame you didn’t end up joining the ARB crew — hope it wasn’t anything too serious. And yep, I’m totally with you on Crocs. I wear them outdoors all the time. Easy to slip on and off, surprisingly comfy, closed-toe for protection, and that heel strap? That’s the off-road mode right there. They’re my go-to camping footwear. Had a good laugh at the comments on this video too, 'I tell you what, this doesn’t look too far off this year’s Land Cruiser 70 Series.' and the ant taking flowers to the Mrs. Classic.  😁
