The perfect solution for keeping your friends from realizing that you're a hoarder: add a couple of new rooms onto the house!
Beautiful.

From the outside it looks like a crazy cult compound in that first shot, but the interiors are lovely and natural.

Everything in this house is amazing, making it very hard to pick a favorite!

They took a house and turned it into a home built with love.

I went from, "😢aww man..." to "phew😊" in just a few seconds. I'm glad it was moved.

That darn 210 extension! It really caused a lot of problem.
I’m glad that the Maloof house survived.
I grew up in that area and so many of my friend’s homes were built in the 210 freeway path.
Thanks for sharing👍🏻

I have toured the house. The grounds and everything are just beautiful.

Yes, and we all know just what havoc California's freeway system wreaked on absolutely everything. Money and greed get their way every time. How the Maloofs kept going after such a devastating blow is amazing.

Goodness they have a lot of stuff. Imagine having to dust all that!

When you do dog watch and wake up late, and as I made my cappuccino, I thought to myself ‘I hope there’s a new TH’,
And there was!!!!

Your voice calms my soul and dang it, now I’m fascinated with these homes.

So much to comment on, so I will just simply say that it's stunning!
So glad it was moved and not demolished! 😊👍

Ken, thank you for sharing this incredible story with us! I have enjoyed using the I210 extension but freeways destroy or change a lot of the people’s lives that were in it’s path. These people’s creation was saved because they had the money and the connections to save theirs from the wrecking ball.
