Honestly this style of "talking with others about you" is my favourite kind of video and is so hard find things that hit like this so thank you so soooo much!!!

Never in a million years have I thought that an ASMR video would make me feel like Anne Hathaway. This is the greatest feeling ever!!!
Also Amy, you make a FABULOUS Meryl Streep!

@wayardcerberus 3 years ago

the fact that she's so rude- and not subtle about it!- that it makes you feel so good about the things she compliments you on which sounds bad, but for the sake of these videos are perfect. I don't know how to describe them other than "world building"? just amazing

Nerdy analyzing comment here: the plant in the background is in danish called "Mother in laws sharp toungue" (translated). Just thought it was a funny observation with a name translating to sharp toungue is in a video specifically about a person with that kind of personality.

withering under the scrutiny of being unprepared for the interview and the stare with the "That's all."
This was absolutely brilliant! You're marvelously talented 😊🤗

How is no one talking about the cerulean rant! I love it :) so glad you managed to incorporate it

The ASMR video we didn’t know we all needed

this is fantastic i have never ever heard anyone say "sweater" with so much polite disdain

You absolutely capture the Meryl Streep essence of it all! I love it.

Oh my god I never would have thought of this character as a good ASMR roleplay but it’s perfect. Streep is so genius for the way she decided to make Miranda a quiet speaker - if anyone isn’t aware of this movie fact, everyone expected to her to be loud and yelling but she came in with this quiet voice because she noticed one of the most powerful people she had come across spoke softly and it forced everyone around them to be quiet in order to listen and was more effective than yelling.

Now I need to look up Belgian flax cotton, because flax and cotton are two different plants so my theory is they're woven together? I could see that being a good combo actually. Linen is great at wicking away sweat, which is why was the main fabric for ancient underwear, and cotton is really breathable and great for hotter climates.

Sorry for the rambling lol, I spin yarn and love fashion history

YESSSS YOU DID THE BELT SCENE! LOVE IT

@cristinarancano471 3 years ago

I literally watched this movie for the first time a few days ago and the way she has so many Miranda lines is iconic. Also when she said the Belgian flax cotton is different from “regular poor people cotton” I died 😂

@JustFlemishMe 3 years ago

Hey, Belgium mention! 😀
Also, fun fact: at least as far back as the 13th century and even into modern times, Flanders historically has had a great reputation for textile. So, yeah, Belgian linen being something top-of-the-line actually makes a lot of sense!

The cerulean monologue “blue” me away 😂 Honestly, it’s because of this film that cerulean became on of my favorite colors.

@blackbird9421 3 years ago

This is both a crazy good Miranda impression and the tingliest ASMR video I’ve watched in a long while 💯

@aidamou 3 years ago

Okay this NEEDS a sequel! I love the devil wears prada and you perfectly encapsulated Miranda and the rants were so fun!

I was taken aback by the hair lol. I thought it was a hat at first 🤣. I love your sense of humor.

As a fashion major- this was both amazing and low-key hurtful😃😂 (basically you did it perfectly darling)
