Still love the raw production. Truly a relic of it's time

It sounded raw and rough, but imperfection makes this album perfect

Gives me such happiness when he mentioned All Shall Perish - Wage Slaves banger song

Crazy hearing how BMTH hated how Count your Blessings sounded when it released when its my favorite album by them. You just had to be there back in 2006 when this album came out. Banger after banger after banger.

Count Your Blessings is still my favorite BMTH album.

My wife and I danced to 15 fathoms, counting… at our wedding 💕

Ironic since I think the raw production of CYB makes it better, more like a DIY hardcore album from that era. A lot of bands are imitating the sound today.

Everything he talkes about is what makes the album perfect to be honest

the fact that Oli expresses how grateful he is for the people who used to rip the music and split it back in the day really speaks on how those people have preserved that past

this interview will become an important piece of history

the 2 decade long plan to get more people into deathcore is finally in motion

I picked up Count Your Blessings in South Africa from a CD shop (RIP) without any context whatsoever. Had never heard of the band before. Ended up being one of my favourite albums of all time. Listened to it every day in my car for years until someone broke my window and stole the disc 🤣

Been listening to BMTH since 2006-07. They've been such a massive inspiration to me and have had a massive impact on me and at a minimum thousands of others. Loving these interviews!

it was RAW and that album shaped my whole entire life

After listening to count your blessings 2026 I noticed the timing improvements and thought it must’ve driven them crazy as perfectionists to hear those over the years.

I was a die hard BMTH fan in the early days, but left the bandwagon when they started getting more pop-ey. I thought they were sellouts, straight up. But now that they’re bringing the heaviness back, I didn’t expect it at all so I’m really excited

Carcass Heartwork - a great album - was reportedly an influence of theirs' at that time. Have a listen if you've not.

it sounds so fucking good so far, im so hype, feels like a treat for loving everything since edge of your seat

@arengray1837 3 months ago

This is the best example of an artist being disappointed and the fans loving something like bad production on an album. Now, it feels like this album is going to sound how it should’ve. Stoked.
