What tips do you have for Bearded Dragon Owners?

I had to stop painting my nails red because my dragon thinks they are strawberries so she bites my fingers 😆

Excellent stuff!
Just to put in, in case anyone missed this bit or it didn't get mentioned: That Enclosure and lights and stuff? DO ALL THAT BEFORE YOU EVER GET THE ANIMAL.
Spend a couple days or WEEKS dialing all that in, putting in substrate and doing your spraying routine, or mechanizing that, and checking humidity, getting the hang of what spots stay warm, what thermostats behave, what lights you need and how hot they get certain spots- get a temp gun and do all that BEFORE YOU GET THE ANIMAL.

I really appreciate you making all the info accessible without pretending we need to be surgically precise to succeed

Had a beardie as a kid who would snuggle on my neck after we got home from being out of town. Some people think reptiles don’t have personality but I swear some are more emotionally intelligent than dogs.

Babe wake up, a new beardie care guide just dropped

I can't even begin to express how much this video means to me. I've been keeping my bearded dragon in a 4-foot-tall enclosure, and everyone kept telling me I was wrong—that bearded dragons don’t like to climb. Seeing this video makes me so happy and validated

im not sure the last entertaining care guide ive watched (no offense to any creator) but your jokes and commentary is just so much more entertaining than any other reptile creator (again no offense)  everybody just gets to the point and usually just lists the essentials they used. Thank you for your videos theyve helped me and my reptile !!

I love you Diamond. I miss my beardie so much. Best pet ever. Rest in peace Pancake.

My wife and I are planning to get our first beardie in a couple of months and we plan on adopting one from Snake Discovery’s adoption island!

My beardie loves his arboreal enclosure so much that he only comes down to eat from his bowl. He refuses to use any of his hides. He likes to sleep on the highest branch he can get to. I've used a temp gun all over the enclosure, and everything is in proper range. Maybe he was an iguana in a previous life! 😂

I have a 10yr old beardie. I wish I took better care of her. She is now in a 4x2x2 because I was able to convince my parents she needs it. I hope she will like it and use it.

My female bearded dragon was on sandy earthy substrate until now - she just got cloaca prolapse and my vet told me to change her substrate to towels. She wasn’t impacted, but sand could raise the chances she prolapses again. She’s seven year old and not out of the woods yet, but I am hoping to have her live another long seven years!

That thing about not feeding them mealworms because they will eat through their stomach is a common misconception. Although I think why it has persisted as belief is because of something that does happen where something does eat into their stomach and kills them.

Sometimes people just throw a bunch of mealworms in their environment for them to eat. And sometimes not all of the mealworms get eaten. What happens, is the mealworms go under the sand where they will go through metamorphosis and turn into these beetles. And these beetles if not eaten or removed. They can actually eat a hole into the lizards stomach. And this can be more common than you think. I have witnesses the aftermath on 2 separate occasions. I also believe why the myth about the mealworms eating their way out of the stomach has persisted for so long. I believe it is actually the beetles eating their way inside.

My aunt used to dip her dragons mealworms and food in calcium powder for his calcium

Great video, I love how you're talking common sense and not just trying to fill potential new owners with stress and anxiety.

I just found one out in the WILD.😮 He was just chilling in a bush! I made a habitat and he's been happy basking and eating and sitting on me..... Thank for the info. I wasn't expecting this guy to come into my life, but here he is...💁🏼‍♀️🦎

Bearded Dragons are a surprisingly charming reptile!

They genuinely have personalities and seem to recognize their regular handlers.

I am looking forward to you doing a new care guide every month!

Just got 2 bearded dragons from somebody who was giving them away. Thank you for your videos on them, helped out alot!!
