Pure genius. Siobhans lower register and Marcellas high register compliment each other like nothing else.

2026 anyone

Shakespear's sister are ahead of their time. I remember when Stay came out, I didn't think much of it, even though I liked the anesthetics. Now I'm a fan!

Marcie wrote ‘Lay Down Sally’ for Clapton.. also a Beverly Hills mom for years that was in our group of friends.. always great when she turned up with a guitar., and serenaded the room.. beyond an amazing talent.. a very nice and cool person..

I'm 60 now and only just realised after 40 years what an absolute babe Siobhan always was.

I'm so grateful to have lived in the days of these songs 🥹🥹

I believe they really enjoyed making this video. And they both liked each other at the time.

If you like this, then I like you. Pure and simple.

Saw this again on mtv recently and had forgotten about it. Don’t hear it that often. Underrated group.

The vocals are just perfectly paired

So ahead of their time. Even the video remains fresh.

Everyone remembers Stay, but to me, this is their best record, very Prince influenced , even down to the Wendy Melvoin's chorus guitar.

Siobhan looking exactly like Xena warrior princess here.

This video is actual history.

Siobhan looks amazing in this video!

Weirdly, this is one of my comfort songs. It was about 1996 and I'd just seen a bit of A Nightmare On Elm Street and it freaked me out (I had insomnia and felt under a lot of pressure from school, so probably wasn't in a good place psychologically) I switched to VH-1 and this was playing. It brought me back down to reality, as I had always liked it. It's remained one of my favourites, and almost like a good talisman ever since.

Great good old Days❤

Sioban looks hot af in black/gothic like this.   =P  💥boom 💥

This song is brilliant. And I don't know why. But it doesn't matter. It's brilliant. Enough said
