Jesus said to love one another and that we should be servants to each other, so I would ask that you all do that in the comment section. Be respectful. We are a community. That means more to me than anything. Thank you.

for those of you who don’t know, spooky scary “sunday” is when all the samurais gather round on pretty much any day but sunday, and we all watch some short spooky films.

26:18 “I GAVE IT TO YOU! YOU HAVE TO KEEP YOUR EYES ON IT.” dang bro.

@alfiesmith2021 5 years ago (edited)

Duuude, the way he said "no BEN YOU YOU YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT IT".
"I GAVE IT TO YOU".
God the acting on that last one.

I don’t know who the actor is but whoever played Shaun DESERVES to be recognized! not a lot of actors especially in short films can give the watcher that kind of thrill in just a few seconds.

I can't even begin to imagine the horror Rachel felt when she realized that the Box Creature could move despite her watching the box.

I swear MeatCanyon won’t stop until all of our views of our childhood cartoons are ruined

23:24 “Just Ben. Don’t let him leave the house.” how did neither of them hear that? Rachel could’ve left and gotten help or something.

The whole “keep your eyes on the antagonist” trope NEVER fails to terrify me.

Shawn's actor is genuinely incredible. That "NO YOU DAMMIT I GAVE IT TO YOU. YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT!" is absolutely chilling when what he's really saying hits, and then his desperate attempt to stop him from going back??? I NEED to see more of this guy, he's amazing.

Bro I literally got chills when Shawn started yelling at Ben. He specifically told him to keep his eyes on the box. That anger and desperation was on another level of acting.

@thursangel 5 years ago

Imagine if the reason why Shawn told him not to go back is because Ben's house was being turned into "bigger box"? Shawn told the thing to not let him leave the house, and it was making the house more hospitable for it to survive, water and darkness.

" I GAVE IT TO YOU! "
That gave me chills down my spine

no matter how many times I watch this, every time Shawn says "NO YOU DAMMIT I GAVE IT TO YOU. YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT" chills.

Shaun left NO crumbs with that intense "I GAVE IT TO YOU! IT HAS TO BE *YOU*!!!!!" scene

That final one has to be the BEST short horror film I've ever seen. Acting was perfect the story was perfect, no cheap Jumpscares just perfectly built suspense
