That FlatOut whacking minigame actually broke my controller when I tried it lmao

The amount of horror from that company definitely challenged for Eden to endure as well reunited with Team6 again, anyway Nitro & SanFran show that be different from the roots can be done well

Eden with a turtleneck makes me feel things

Next project : the underground world of PS vita Racing games

( Amazing video btw)

Fun fact about Jimmie Johnson:

He was a 5 time champion in Nascar at the time of 2011

I wanna add something to the Excite Truck segment. In Excite Truck, you can actually play your own MP3's via an SD card. Yes, that has to be one of the only Nintendo released games (Aside from Endless Ocean) that i know of to have this feature.

Not calling it a Wii-eel was a missed opportunity

What's more interesting with Driver San Francisco Wii, is that it's a prequel to the first DRIVER game.

Btw, on NFS Run Wii, it is a port of the 3DS version. I remember that the 3DS version had some touch-based QTE that was just made as part of the cutscene in the WIi version. Also, IIRC, the Wii version is the last NFS game in the series to feature split-screen multiplayer.

Me: Sees Nitro, expects him to dump on it

Eden: "THIS GAME IS FAQ'N AWESOME!!!

Me: BASED!!!!

One interesting fact about Cruis’n on the Wii is that it kinda is related to to the old Cruis’n games, those games were all made by Midway, who went bust. But most of the employees formed a new company called Raw Thrills, who brought most of Midway’s IPs. They made a whole bunch of games that spiritually continued their old franchises, like H2Overdrive as a spiritual successor to Hydro Thunder.

The Fast and Furious arcade game that Raw Thrills made and later released as Cruis’n on the Wii was basically a spiritual successor to the old Cruis’n games, taking most of its gameplay from Cruis’n Exotica.

I think it’s interesting how all the Cruis’n games review terribly but are still really fun to play and are kinda cult classics for the small community who play them, me included.

NFS Nitro and Trackmania Build to Race were part of my childhood when the Wii was a quintessential piece of any living room, glad to see these being mentioned here :D

3:52 I'm impressed with your Microsoft Paint skills m8

Shame you didn't play the Speed Racer game, one of the most fun racing games on the Wii imo. Still a great video.

The reason why most games are very arcade is because the Wii-Mote and Nunchuk don't allow you to dose the gas and brake. Theoretically you could do it like in the Wii rendition of NfS Carbon by adjusting the speed by tilting the Wii-Mote, but most games didn't do that and just opted to make the player hold the Wii-mote sideways to steer.

Man, i really wish you showed off "SPEED" for the wii.

It's basically a reskin of flatout 3's "speed" mode, but with motion controls and an absolute masterpiece of a soundtrack.

Oh yeah, GT Pro Series is actually just a direct port of GT Cube for the Gamecube, which was a Japan-exclusive release. It's pretty much just the same game but without forced motion controls.

Fun fact about the Trackmania Wii OST, some of the songs in the game feature pretty neat samples of other songs.

The Main Theme/Island 1 samples I Searched Around by Kinsman Dazz with some drum samples from Let There Be Light by Justice
Coast 1 samples Dancing In The Halls Of Love by the Alessi Brothers
Stadium 1 samples I Wouldn't Give You Up by Coffee
Island 2 samples Ain't Nothin But A Party by A Taste of Honey

Will Wii see some good Racing Games? Lets find out!

I can give you a Wii racer that isnt MK Wii: Speed Racer. Based on the underrated 2008 movie, has awesome courses, controls fairly well, and looks frankly epic for the console. Also has a DS version which is honestly really impressive for the hardware, and a PS2 version with a standard controller scheme. Sadly didn’t sell well enough to get any other platform releases.

If you like arcade racers, car combat, or are a big fan of the Speed Racer movie (like me), give it a go!

I'm disappointed that the tier list ranking was removed, It was a very good way of ranking games
