HISTOREX NCO 54MM FIGURES

Scale War Machines

For this Tips & Tech unboxing we go a little off the beaten track to review Historex NCO's range of 54mm injection-moulded figures.

We've never tried these before but were kindly sent some samples by Historex Agents in Dover (http://www.historexagents.com/yt). Here's our review.

You can see a quick rundown of what's on offer & some selected references are analysed - then we build up a figure of Napoleon I on horseback so you get an idea of how they go together.

For pricing & the whole range, visit http://www.historexagents.com/yt & search for 'Historex NCO".

Enjoy!

Back in '68 I lived for Hendrix and Historex

Having built many of these figures. I found a better alternative to the ribbon supplied use electric tape, remove the glue on the tape with a little turps on a cloth, then cut the tape to the width/shape you desire, use super glue to fix it in place.

Thank you for featuring Historex! They are excellent kits from an exceptional compamy. Also, Historex Agents in the UK is one of the best hobby-related companies I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with.

They are 1/30th scale thus not really 1/32nd . It is rather 60 mm . I did inherit approximately 1000 historex figurines plus some from nemrod from a late friend who used to sell them a business ! Help ! 🤣

Historex 54mm were the finest figurines of their day, accurate in every detail. Once you had the Pvrogravure at hand, you could convert to your hearts content. Excellent figurines, but sadly, they have gone into decline.

Thanks for that, good review!

Not sure if you're aware these moulds are approximately 50 years old - they look good for their age.

I made some historex figures many years ago and while moving to another country I lost them and with them tools like a pyrogravure which they can't be bought as they don't make them anymore, as I had bought a pair of models I would like to find if anybody know of an alternative
