Crazy how the game was so good that it made everyone forget that there isn’t a SINGLE dog in this game let alone a sleeping one. False advertising at its finest smh

GTA 4 screwed me up so bad that anytime there is a wedding in any of the games I play, i KNOW something terrible will happen.

lived in hong kong before, was shocked by how few people knew this game. hella underrated. wish they made a second game.

"Asian 47" interesting name there joelemz, let's hope we're not infringing on any existing IPs

I visited HK this year purely because of this game, stayed in Central , visited North point, Kennedy town, aberdeen island, victoria peak , the real temple where the in game temple was based on and many more places. . Absolutely loved Hong Kong, what an amazing, vibrant and beautiful place! The map is definitely a lot more pushed in and smaller but that's to be expected. Would've been cool if you could take the MRT in game though :D.

"A man who never EATS PORK, Is never a WHOLE MAAAAAN!"

"you're a cop I'm an undercover cop, the rules are different"
also Wei who's an undercover cop : commits more murder than the entire gang in one mission...

One of my favourite games. The love they clearly have for old HK action films, and just the vibe of Hong Kong (pre-2020, anyway) is captured so perfectly. The radio stations have some real vibes too. The only thing I wish is that some parts were a little harder. It felt tuned a little too easy in some places. But that's a minor thing.

Emma Stone isn't the only famous person in the cast of the game :
— Pendrew is voiced by Tom Wilkinson who appeared in Batman Begins (2005), The Patriot (2000), RocknRolla (2008), Rush Hour (1998), Walkyrie (2008) and The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014).
— Wei Shen is voiced by Will Yun Lee who appeared in Die Another Day (2002), The Wolverine (2013), as well as Hawaii 5-0 (2010-2017), Good Doctor (2018-2024). He also voiced some NPCs in Saints Row : The Third (2011).
— Jane Teng is voiced by Kelly Hu. She appeared in X-Men 2 (2003), The Tournament (2009), The Orville (2017-2022) and she also voiced characters in games such as Visas Marr in Star Wars KTOR 2, Lady Shiva in Batman : Arkham Origins, Khai in Battlefield Hardline as well as several characters in the Mortal Kombat games between 2015 and 2023.

Driving 2 minutes without getting in an accident in china was the most unrealistic part of the game

And I AM STILL WAITING FOR RDR2 PLATINUM! Pls Joel do it, I need this to live!

I fell in love with this game. 100% it on steam and never felt even remotely bored. Glad you post it!

This game really deserves more recognition. It's so close to being a real contender storywise for games like rdr or GTA4.

It's criminal that we didn't get a sequel to this game (we don't talk about the online MMO).  It flew under my radar in 2012 and I picked it up super cheap on a Steam sale in 2013 and fell in love with it instantly. Never clicked on one of your videos so quick, Joel.  Hopefully this inspires more people to give this game a try.

This was my GTA 5 at that time. It was pure masterpiece

YES what an absolute gem of a game
