One thing people forget about this fight.. Minato entered it thinking he was fighting Madara.. and never once doubted himself.

"I should never have let down my guard."

Immediately lets down his guard.

Minato's attack was the coldest move in the series!

Keep in mind, that flying raijin seal stayed on Obito for 17 years. Meaning, had Minato not sacrificed his life to save his son and the village, he would’ve pulled up on Tobi at anytime…. crazy.

Minato is the perfect example of hard work and talent. He had no crazy eyes or clan power just pure skills and intelligence

Minato is the only anime character that doesn’t let villains just stand and talk

Jiraiya put it correctly when he said "There won't be another like him. Ever."

It's crazy that he caused such chaos and yet...within a nearly 3:03 seconds. Minato figured out his jutsu and beat him in one point of contact. Bro was a genius

The “I win” and then getting absolutely played.. always so badass

@andyp557 4 years ago

Not only did he figure out kamui in seconds, he also broke the anime fight rule of letting your opponent talk before attacking

The fact that he discovered and countred his secret in such a short time makes me wonder how clever he was

One thing people forget is that Obito knew exactly the techniques and fighting style of Minato, while Minato did not had that advantage.

Minato really was on a different level. In minutes he analyzed the situation and the enemy, formed a plan and executed it flawlessly. What took Naruto and everyone else what seems like hours to figure out.

Even though Minato appears very few times in the anime, he still manages to be the most badass character in the entire series.

Alternative title: Minato reminds Obito why he is hokage

Him catching the Kunai and looking down as he’s about to hit obito with the rasengan gives me chills every time

I love how Tobi is doing the typical villain monologue and Minato just continues the attack because he is not finished. It's refreshing to see the hero not wait for the villain to stop talking.
