So when you call them out, address their behaviour they attack you, blame you ànd project all their issues on you !

The shutting down of personality is murder by shame. The narcissist suppresses your unique and beautiful expression. Fight for yourself and get away as soon as possible. Seek help.

I got to the point where I realized certain people just don’t want to hear what I have to say. It almost seems like they hate to hear me speak on anything and the sound of my voice. This explains it.

You lose yourself and become so hung up on them

These  are people who don’t want to understand you.
They just want to watch you lose your mind while you try.

Toxic people don’t deny the truth because they can’t see it,
but because they can’t handle it.
They already know you’re right.
They feel it, they sense it.
But admitting it would mean giving up the power they have over you.
So they do the only thing they know how to do: they push you into chaos.
They confuse you, make you question yourself, force you to defend yourself even when there’s nothing to defend.

They drag you into an endless conversation where it’s no longer about what happened,
but about how you “should have reacted.”
They accuse you of being too sensitive, too logical, too controlling, too “much” of everything.
Because if they can make you doubt yourself, they’ve already won.

That’s the subtle mechanism of manipulation:
it doesn’t destroy you head-on — it empties you slowly.
It pushes you to explain yourself again and again,
until you’re exhausted from chasing a justice that will never come.
Not because you’re wrong, but because on the other side there’s no intention to listen.

Toxic people don’t want to resolve things.
They want you to react.
They want your anger, your confusion, your need to be understood.
Because in that moment of disorientation, they feel important again.
And your suffering becomes their proof of existence.

And then you realize that real strength is not in proving yourself.
It’s in staying silent.
Not out of cowardice, but out of clarity.
You can’t convince someone who benefits from your chaos.
You can’t save someone who uses your heart as a battlefield.

Sometimes the only way to win is to leave the war.
To turn off the need to be right.
To let silence say what words never could.

When you stop defending yourself, the truth stops bleeding.
And those who wanted to see you lose your mind are left alone with their own noise.

You don’t have to prove anything to anyone —
especially to those who’ve already decided not to understand you.
Power isn’t having the last word.
It’s not needing one anymore.

The main understanding that I have come to me after dealing with Narcissis abuse is not to become like them but to love yourself unconditionally . have your say and walk away with your heart in tact knowing that you  are so full of love that it flows out of you. Narcissist can not manipulate or control love. no matter how they try.

The most perverse thing I discovered about this "hidden contract" is that the dream that promised you freedom enslaved you. Later I realized that what really enslave me there were my own desires, my own needs not met in the past and the need to be important for someone, save o help and that brings me the sense of purpurse in my life.
Now i decide to care about me, to save me and to help me ...In this way I will not allow myself to be enslaved by my own needs in the form of false promises made by psychological predators.

Look out for this person saying "we" far too early without earning it.  Look out for a person who is isolated and wants to isolate you.  Look for someone who cannot say, "it was my fault, I'm sorry."

Narcisist: Oh, this person looks as if they are lonely, and they are listless and depressed. Lets see what I can get from them!  Normal person with empathy and a conscious: This person looks lonely and depressed, let me see how I can help them and give them what they need, they have been through Enough.  Narcs are evil. Period.

That just struck me, "that asks you, that demands of you, that you not be".  That just planted my feet in the ground and that how dare someone do that. It is evil and I won't allow that person to have control over me ever again.
