Brothers and sisters in Islam, I learned this in school. Sleep has 4 phases, and as we sleep, we go through all 4 in about 45 mins. In one night we go through many cycles. We are closest to waking state at the end of each cycle. So if we plan to wake up in multiples of 45 mins, it is healthier and easier. In other words 45 mins, 2 times 45=90 mins, 3x45=135mins or 2hrs and 15 mins, and so on.
