THIS HUGO TECH COMPLETELY CHANGES EVERYTHING (jump cancel Throw invul)

I wanted to make this video seven minutes and twenty seconds long but youtube made it 721 instead. I guess YouTube jump canceled my premiere timeline.

Inputs for jump cancel tech
632147 LK plink to LP For Ultra Throw
2147 LP+LK for Giant Palm Bomber

It helps if you ensure that you are getting a super jump, rather than a regular jump which is just 6 frames of start up.

I know I'm never going to pull this out but it's so cool to see the character still developing after so much time

Basically a year later and I'm finally hitting this in training after trying it again. What really helps me is keeping in mind that its your up-back input that has to line up with their throw, not your button press. Pretty obvious, I know, but it's helped a lot.

I used to do this in SF4 with Hugo's H.clap against Abel's roll Command Grab as a hard read because EX SPD didn't have any throw invincibility for whatever reason.

I know Alex players do this with Flash Chop, I just never thought to apply the same logic to Hugo

BRROOooo! This is so cool!
I remember i started learning Hugo while on keyboard, and having a whole month just trying to get wrap my head around on how to do 360s. I eventually go it, but until i got there, ultra throw was my go to for most situations but i sucked that it wasnt throw invul....

Guess it now can be :). Thanks Matt!

Yea I remember seeing kuroda doing sjc command grab with Q on defense. Cool application for hugo with either palm or ultra throw.
