crazy how with his back against the wall, him against the world, kanye created this masterpiece. one of the greatest albums ever

its a crime to not have a suit while listening to this masterpiece. great choice of clothes 🙏🏽

devil in a new dress gotta be top 5 song of all time. kanye’s cheeky lines, mike deans insane guitar solo, and an absolute killer verse from rick ross. it’s hard to beat

Fun fact Kanye almost didn’t put monster on the album because of how good Nicki’s verse was , he said he knew ppl were gonna say it was the best verse on the album

I would trade anything to listen to this album for the first time again.

This was the first album I ever bought, I was 12 and it had the parental advisory sticker on, the guy at HMV asked if I was 13 and I lied and said yeah, I only bought it because I had a gift card and the album cover looked cool, the car journey back was the best journey Ive ever had. GOAT album to me and made me fall in love with music as I had a need to go explore the samples and features

Devil in a new dress is one of those songs that’s great on first listen but the more you listen to it the more perfect it becomes

This is in my opinion, Kanye’s most musically inclined album. He take a moment in every song to just let the music breathe and shine through as the main force in this album. Almost as if the music was more important than any lyric that could’ve been spit.

so glad your dad recognized nicki’s domination in monster 😭

This album is what I consider a grower classic. The more you hear it the better it gets.

It is crazy how Kanye has so many incredible albums that you can’t be mad if any one of them are someone’s favourite. MBDTF will go down in history with those MJ, Beatles or bob Dylan albums, breaking genres.

The amazing thing about this record isn’t actually that it’s a comeback album and he’s trying to win people over, it’s the fact it’s a complete double down.

At this point Kanye was the absolute biggest villain in music. The media, his peers, his fans, everyone hated and ostracised him to the point he fled the country and even contemplated suicide.

But he hit a point where he thought "fine. Im not going to apologise for who I am and what I am - because that’s what makes me great. You want me to be the bad guy? I’ll be the bad guy."

In the end this was all apart of his dream. The money, the fame, the love, the hate, the fake women, the backstabbers, the loneliness, the controversy… it was all a kind of beautiful dark twisted fantasy of his.

“I fantasised bout this back in Chicago…”

Can’t start an album in a more perfect way.

All of the lights was probably his most complex song. He really had Drake, Rhianna, alicia keys, elton john, kid cudi, fergie, and more all on one song😂

Lost in the world as just “alright” is insane

The Life Of Pablo reaction is gonna be insane, with tracks like “No More Parties in LA” and “Saint Pablo” and Ye filling stadiums for the tour the album just highlights a great time in life

I don’t think there will ever be a better 3 verse run than Gorgeous, the song showed just how prolific he is as a rapper

Runaway is the album's centerpiece, and my favorite song of the 21st century thus far. the whole album emotionally hinges on it.

Funny how the first voice you hear on this iconic album is Nicki Minaj that woman been a legend 👑
