The isolated track of this is great, but this is the version people who don't know the band and are just marveling at Eloy's playing should be watching, because apart from all the absolutely insane shit he's doing, he's actually servicing the song. He's lifting it up in the more intense parts, accenting Corey in others. And on top of all of that, he's honoring the the main skeleton of Joey's parts and then applying his own feel in areas that allow more improvisation. It's just spectacular playing.

this was the last song of the set btw 💀 still smashing it like no tomorrow

This is song it's basically a 9min drum solo and Eloy is here for it. Everybody is good at its own right but Eloy is just at another level that only few will be able to achieve.

My jaw just drops when he starts playing in 5 dude is just too insane

4:09, when a drum stick says "I'm out! Too much for me, pal..."

the rest of the band is on fire more than ever because of eloy. hes just that good. his energy is aligned and he exudes this. literally brings everyones passion out. this is more than music to him and thats what everyone sees. such an incredible and powerful soul he is

It sounded amazing already from his video, but seeing what he was doing in context with the rest of the band..
It surpassed all expectations

rip to the 2 drumsticks that didn't make it during this song. lol

Jim Root in an interview said "we now have to write music worthy of Eloy's drumming"

This is evolution! In Joey’s era, he honored the drumsticks and was recognized worldwide for his great achievements. Today it’s Eloy’s turn, and he does incredibly insane things, things Joey didn’t do. Tomorrow another generation will come along, someone even more impressive than Eloy. This is evolution! We don’t need to say that one is better than the other. Each one is leaving their mark on their generation. Eternal respect to Joey, as well as to Eloy.

8:16 ele calculando os finais dos gritos do Corey lol, o bicho é muito precioso.

What did I just witness

He changed drum sticks twice minutes 4:09 and minute 8:00 he is a beast

Cel mai mare baterist din istoria slipknot🤫

God damn! That was wild. Eloy, as always, a learned master of drums but Corey was screaming his lungs off like he's in his 20s.

He is boss of all of the beasts out there 🤘🤘🤘

Simplesmente um absurdo o que esse cara toca pqp

Obrigado DEKO, obrigado!

After Joey, only Eloy managed to play this song with so much energy and aggression. Thanks to Eloy, we had the song "Scissor" back in the set-list. 🔥🔥🔥
