Well washed OKRA--- baking soda
and salt in water . After washing, steam OKRA-oil OKRA , light coating - after that cooking with Eggs. That gets to be OKRA Omlette. I have made OKRA Omlette before-- it is usually delicious. Will start cooking like this more often.

Okra is native to Africa. Many African dishes use okra in different stews with a variety of meats and vegetables. During the transatlantic slave trade to the western hemisphere, southern blacks and those in the Caribbean, cooked okra in gumbo, pepper pot soup, fried okra, etc…Cutting okra into smaller pieces makes the okra more slimy. You can even blend okra to make delicious okra stew.
