When you mentioned the ZX armor pieces, I'd add another tip. Never push the katanas too far into the holsters. The katana hilt interferes with the armor so it forces a part of the katana to bend to accomodate the hilt. This usually leaves a stress mark by the middle (and I have a lot of Katanas with that problem since i made this mistake several times) When you feel the katana stops being pushed in, leave it at that. A lot of times it tends to be forced to feel "tighter" when it really just doesn't.

The Katana one also relates to how real Katanas are stored- blade facing up- with the pressure on the flat side to avoid dulling. Edit: with the stickers you can put them back on with glue.

A lot of my older ninjago figures are in a not ideal shape.
This is because they were from when I was a kid. As I kid, I loved making custom figures with different arms and hands. And I was a kid and played with them, while now, I prefer to build for the fun and display abilities.
But now, I can line up the suits of characters for old to new, and it’s amazing seeing the oldest figures with scratches and missing paint and lose joints. But then you look to the left and see the factory fresh new suit with joints stiffer than a rusted bolt

That last one...

What monster puts the head in the hood first!? That’s something they bring up in those Netflix serial killer documentaries.

Dude the removing the spinjitzu pins on the spinner part was like defusing a bomb.

honestly i would not worry all that much about changing arms in minifigs. i did it thousand times as akid and yeah many are loose but if you do this like few times to make a custom fig there should not be a problem and it would be worth it

Who puts the head into the mask first instead of the head on the body first I wanna know

Another thing with  the ZX armour is that with real katanas and wakisashi you would sheath it edge up as to protect the edge from being dulled by the constant downward force on it and also to protect the sheath from being damaged by the blade.

6:30 which Menaces even try that

Good tips!  Especially the one about holding the staff like that, that's super important.  (It works on the long Star Wars blasters, too!)  I've never bought a Ninjago set on purpose, but a lot of these tips hold true for Lego in general.  Also, I'm happy to say that my "Green Ninja" fig from the Lego Movie set "Super Secret Police Dropship" had his swords stored properly.  :D

"it wouldn't make sense"
Sir this is a show about ninjas with super powers fighting humanoid snakes, Japanese ogres, more snakes, genies, ghosts, more snakes, and even more snakes

For the first one, in the show they point the swords down words at least for the sword of fire

The entire video I was realising that I to this automatically

Thanks for the tips! I have many minifigures which have problems, legs loose, legs not sticky enough to studs, hand loose, arm not staple and head loose (RIP) Also good video btw :)

If you want to fix loose parts I recommend using blue tack it can stop the fast movement

Thanks for the tip about the minifigs holding the stick! I wanted to display Cole with his golden weapon but couldn’t figure it out! Now he’s holding it normally! Thank you!

The sword blades need to face inwards so that the minifigure can sit on a flat surface without removing the swords

And a tip for the pin removal. Mould king made a little hammer tool that has on the handle side a sort of pliers part that can remove nearly every pin safely

Gold printing has always easily worn off minifigs. Classic Space figs are legendary for having Space Logos that only the gold is missing.
