I like my Express Steel pusher too. Good design and build quality. I also like how they reinforced the side panels that the snow doesn't get trapped in the corners. Great attachment at a fair price. Nice tractor too and dog approved :-)
Great video, reall shows the strengths of a the pusher in many different situations. How much snow was on the ground there. Ive been considering building a pusher as I've done our drives/pads with the loader bucket for many yrs. I just bought a nice mig welder and have an ole tombstone arc and my barn is nearly complete. I have a cheaper plow from Costco iirc that I bought yrs ago to modify for my L3800 or my B2620, but I've been focusing on the barn build. Watching you and how quickly you made light work of all that(even though you got hot 😅), makes me think it needs to go to the top of the list, as I will save the time I put into the build before this snow season is over. Soon as im done getting ready for the lean-to doors to be installed sometime in the next couple weeks, I need to start working on it. Have a great weekend when you get to it.
The best tool to clear snow largely depends on site conditions. A snow pusher is great for areas that are flat and open like a parking lot. A plow is great for clearing long driveways, lane ways and roads where you can windrow the snow to the side. A snowblower is the best tool when having to deal with lots of snow. It allows you to throw the snow much farther and creates much smaller banks. As the old saying goes in snow removal, a plow is only fast until you run out of room to stack snow.
