There's a 13 yo kid in Sweden, his dad plays in Meshuggah. That's awesome.

Meshuggah adding Marten on at the beginning was the best thing they ever did. Hard to even think of the band without him

the image of Marten recording guitar riff ideas into his phone in the middle of a supermarket is hilarious

As a Swede, i feel proud! Meshuggah is one of a kind!

Have a good one folks!

So cool you got Mårten! Tomas is the de facto band spokesperson, so it's a treat when one of the other band members makes an appearance. And it's even better when it isn't a stock interview, but a great conversation between peers instead. It was awesome learning more about the him and the band.

How kick ass must it have been to see Marten play with Machine Head?! Man I love all these old touring stories.

I just saw Meshuggah for the 1st time last Friday April 18th 2025 at the Roxy in Atlanta with Carcass and Cannibal Corpse. It was incredible. When Rational Gaze kicked off, the whole floor was a pulsating unit of energy and it was instantaneous. I've been to a lot of metal concerts and have experienced some epic crowds and circle pits but those few mins while Rational Gaze played is by far may favorite moment I've experienced. The stage lights were incredible as well. Meshuggah has always been one of my fav bands and they just get better with age. I'm a year shy of 50 myself and I can't wait to see them again.

It's so obvious the language Meshuggah speaks thru their instruments are just on a higher level compared to their peers. They're not trying to make music you like. They're trying to say what they want to say. That's a whole other ****ing game boys 🤌🏻

Mårten is a genious song writer

Immutable is an amazing record, I’ve listened to it at least a dozen times already. I love waking up in the morning and just tossing it on, not a lot of music grabs me like that anymore.

This was such a treat. I LOVE Meshuggah so much it hurts. I remember the first time I heard them. I don't think I took a breath for the whole song. LOL
Their new album is everything I wanted and expected.
As always, awesome interview. Keep em coming!!!

Loved the vibes of two old friends catching up. Couldn't have made those stories more interesting

Cool interview! Been a metal fan for over 20 years but for some reason only got into Meshuggah the last 6 months, new favourite band!

Martin is incredible. I find it amazing that his right hand can stay so locked in with the drums. I've seen them live twice and they are TIGHT.

Cool to hear them actually talk about music and the creative process and not just random blah blah blah... These are the kind of interviews that hold my attention. Great job OG Flynn!
