I love the lady you interviewed today! This has a different, but very cool and interesting vibe! Thanks!

I can barely live with my fiancé - and I love him. I can’t imagine having people living in my house who aren’t related or I’m in love with. Hard pass.

As a kid growing up in Denmark, I always asked why? Not to backtalk or to be a bad kid, I just needed to understand everything.
So the “because I told you to” was really hard for me, I really did not understand that answer, a better answer was “Because it will help me out”  I could/can undertand that

I really enjoyed shooting this video, thank you for having me.

I hope we’ve brought a bit of light to anyone that was thinking of hosting  or becoming an au pair ❤️

I was an au pair for a few years, the family was a good fit. With my own son, i always explain everything so he can see why i get to the decisions I've made. He's 15yo now and literally the kindest, sweetest, and intelligent child. We're good mates, and we have a wonderful relationship.

We all laughed at the bropair 😂. Nothing wrong with it, just makes you giggle

I’m a daycare teacher in the U.S., and having to negotiate with kids for them to do basic things because that’s how their parents raised them is beyond frustrating.

This lady is so well spoken and pretty. She seems very gentle 😊

I allow my daughter to ask why, for understanding. But she doesn’t talk back, and at 14, she understands the difference.

My oldest has been a nanny off and on for years. My son is in the military, he's in medical & used to love babysitting. He got all of his Red Cross babysitting certifications while he was still in school. I'm pretty sure his opportunity to nurture and help the kids he took care of led him to go into trauma medicine. You never know, there's so much you can learn, especially about yourself, when you work with kids.

If you pay the au paire 4$ you cannot afford an au paire 😂

I’ve never heard of Au Pair. So this was very informative.

Personally, I’d rather do one of those teaching programs because I’ve worked with kids before, and I couldn’t imagine being on the clock with them 24/7 and not getting paid at minimum a livable wage.

My mom was an au-pair and she loved it! She loves taking care of children, traveling and cooking.

I studied abroad and was supposed to stay at a host family’s house for a whole year. Unfortunately, they seemed to treat me like an au pair. They were expecting me to take care of the kids before I left for school, so before 7:30 am, and as soon as I came back from school at 7:30 pm. Then, as the family ate, I had to vacuum a whole floor of the house (alternated between 1st floor and 2nd floor). After that, I had to get the kids ready for bed. I also had to clean up and wash as much as I could. At that point it was about 10 pm. I could finally shower and eat my dinner (I wasn’t allowed to eat with the family or at the same time as them).
Oh, I forgot to mention that I had to go to school on Saturdays and sometimes on Sundays too. I couldn’t stay out after school with friends or spend time with them outside of school. Basically, anytime I wasn’t at school, or at home, cleaning, cooking, taking care of the kids, etc. I was expected to stay in my room. It was a horrible situation and the host family kept telling the organization that I was the problem because I wasn’t helping enough with the kids or I wasn’t cleaning enough.
Even though I disliked my host family, every thing else was wonderful

i think its nice that in america children are allowed to be curious, i agree with sangiwe there. Its sad that asking questions is considered 'talking back." As adults, we should be able to justify our decisions to our children. You should be able to explain to your kid why they cant have that 4th piece of chocolate, why they should brush their teeth everyday, why they shouldn't hit others. If you're unable to explain those things, idk if parenting is for you.

This intro is so fitting, we see you with the creativity 💃🏽🥰

I am so sorry that she only experienced kids that talk back. Because if I even fixed my mouth I am seeing stars.  Lol

Mom -  No
Me -  Why not?
Mom - Because I said so 🤨

B your guest was great. Good vibes, intelligent, well balanced, mature, informative and she understands that it’s your channel (no clout chasing extraness). Good video ladies! ❤
