EVERY DROP COUNTS: THE INVISIBLE COST OF WASTE.

The report reveals the impacts of treated water waste in Brazil, caused by leaks, losses in the distribution network and fraud, and shows how this problem goes beyond the limits of the pipes: it reaches the consumer's pocket, puts pressure on water sources and highlights the challenges to ensure a more efficient and sustainable supply in Brazilian cities.

With a focus on local reality, the production also addresses the importance of the Camboriú River, a water source that is part of the BC water supply system, and asks: given so much water lost even before it reaches the tap, how can we turn this around and protect every drop?
